પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ તેમની તાજેતરની મંડ્યા, કર્ણાટકની મુલાકાતની ઝલક શેર કરી છે અને કહ્યું છે કે મંડ્યા અદ્ભુત છે. લોકોનો સ્નેહ સદાય પ્રિય રહેશે.
કર્ણાટકના માંડ્યાના સંસદસભ્ય શ્રીમતી સુમલતા અંબરીશે દ્વારા કરાયેલા ટ્વીટના જવાબમાં પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ટ્વીટ કર્યું;
"મંડ્યા અદ્ભુત હતું! લોકોનો સ્નેહ હંમેશા યાદગાર રહેશે."

વધુમાં, એક નાગરિક, રંગરાજ બિંદીગાનવિલે દ્વારા કરાયેલી ટ્વીટનો જવાબ આપતા, પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું;
"કર્ણાટક વિકાસનું પાવરહાઉસ છે, જે ઘણા ક્ષેત્રોમાં રાષ્ટ્ર માટે યોગદાન આપી રહ્યું છે. આ મહાન રાજ્યના લોકોની સેવા કરવી એ સન્માનની વાત છે."
