Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, today paid his respectful tributes to Rajmata Jijabai Ji on her birth anniversary and said that she awakened in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj the resolve to establish Hindavi Swaraj and inspired him toward the great goal of safeguarding the nation.

In a post on ‘X’, Shri Amit Shah said, “From childhood itself, Rajmata Jijabai Ji instilled in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj the values of courage, self-respect, and the protection of one’s own culture. She awakened in Shivaji Maharaj the resolve to establish Hindavi Swaraj and inspired him toward the great goal of safeguarding the nation. I bow in reverence to Rajmata Jijabai Ji on her birth anniversary.”

राजमाता जीजाबाई जी ने छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज जी में बाल्यकाल से ही साहस, स्वाभिमान और स्वसंस्कृति की रक्षा के संस्कार भरे। उन्होंने शिवाजी महाराज जी के मन में हिंदवी स्वराज की स्थापना का संकल्प जागृत कर उन्हें राष्ट्ररक्षा के महान लक्ष्य की ओर प्रेरित किया।
