ദാദാസാഹിബ് ഫാൽക്കെ പുരസ്‌കാരം നേടിയ ആശാ പരേഖ് ജിയെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
രാഷ്ട്രപതി ശ്രീമതി ദ്രൗപതി മുർമുവിന്റെ ട്വീറ്റിന് മറുപടിയായി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു:
“ആശാ പരേഖ് ജി ഒരു മികച്ച ചലച്ചിത്ര വ്യക്തിത്വമാണ്. തന്റെ നീണ്ട കരിയറിൽ, വൈദഗ്ധ്യം എന്താണെന്ന് അവർ തെളിയിച്ചു. ദാദാസാഹിബ് ഫാൽക്കെ അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചതിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ അഭിനന്ദിക്കുന്നു."
