കെനിയയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട വില്യം എസ് റൂട്ടോയെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു
ഒരു ട്വീറ്റിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു :
"കെനിയയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട വില്യംസ് റൂട്ടോയ്ക്ക് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ. നമ്മുടെ ചരിത്രപരമായ ഉഭയകക്ഷി ബന്ധം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന് അദ്ദേഹവുമായി അടുത്ത് പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു."
