ബര്‍മിംഗ്ഹാം കോമണ്‍വെല്‍ത്ത് ഗെയിംസിലെ പാരാ ടേബിള്‍ ടെന്നീസില്‍ വെങ്കല മെഡല്‍ നേടിയ സോണാല്‍ പട്ടേലിനെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
ഒരു ട്വീറ്റില്‍ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു;
'പ്രതിഭയും സ്വഭാവവും ദൃഢതയും ഒത്തുചേര്‍ന്നാല്‍ അസാധ്യമായി ഒന്നുമില്ല. പാരാ ടേബിള്‍ ടെന്നീസില്‍ വെങ്കല മെഡല്‍ നേടി സോണാല്‍ പട്ടേല്‍ ഇത് വാക്കുകളിലും, മനോഭാവത്തിലും തെളിയിച്ചു. അവർ ക്ക് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്‍. വരും കാലങ്ങളിലും അവര്‍ പ്രശസ്തിയിലേക്കുയരട്ടെ എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.
