पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी म्यॅनमारमधील निवडणुकीतील यशाबद्दल आंग सॅन स्यू क्यी आणि एन.एल.डी. यांचे अभिनंदन केले.
“आंग सॅन स्यू क्यी आणि एन.एल.डी. यांचे निवडणुकीतील यशाबद्दल अभिनंदन. निवडणुकांचे यशस्वी व्यवस्थापन ही म्यॅनमारमध्ये सुरू असलेल्या लोकशाही पुनर्रचनेची अजून एक पायरी आहे. आपले पारंपारिक मैत्रीपूर्ण संबध दृढ करण्यासाठी आपल्यासह काम करण्याबाबत मी आशादायी आहे”. असे आपल्या ट्विटमध्ये पंतप्रधानांनी म्हटले आहे.
