సిఒవిఐడి-19 (కోవిడ్-19) అనే ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్త వ్యాధి ప్రబలిన నేపథ్యం లో విదేశాల లో చిక్కుకొన్న భారతీయుల ను అక్కడి నుండి తరలించినందుకుగాను ఎయర్ ఇండియా ను ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ప్రశంసించారు. ‘‘మానవతపరమైన పిలుపు నకు శిఖర స్థాయి లో ప్రతిస్పందించి అత్యంత ధైర్యాన్ని కనబరచిన అటువంటి @airindiain యొక్క ఈ జట్టు ను చూస్తే మాకు అమిత గర్వం గా ఉంది. వారి యొక్క ఉత్కృష్ట ప్రయత్నాలను భారతదేశ వ్యాప్తం గా అనేక మంది మెచ్చుకొన్నారు. #IndiaFightsCorona’’ అని ప్రధాన మంత్రి ట్విటర్ లో పేర్కొన్నారు.

The crew of @airindiain Boeing 777 led by Capt Swati Raval & Capt Raja Chauhan responded to the call of duty & displayed exemplary determination by airlifting 263 Indians, mostly students, stranded in Rome.
