ഏഷ്യൻ കപ്പിൽ വെങ്കല മെഡൽ നേടിയ ടേബിൾ ടെന്നീസ് താരം മണിക ബത്രയെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു;
"ഏഷ്യൻ കപ്പിൽ വെങ്കലം നേടി ഇന്ത്യൻ ടേബിൾ ടെന്നീസിനായി ചരിത്രം രചിച്ച മണിക ബത്രയെ ഞാൻ അഭിനന്ദിക്കുന്നു. അവരുടെ വിജയം ഇന്ത്യയിലുടനീളമുള്ള നിരവധി അത്‌ലറ്റുകൾക്ക് പ്രചോദനം നൽകുകയും ടേബിൾ ടെന്നീസ് കൂടുതൽ ജനപ്രിയമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും."
