കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിലെ ബോക്‌സിംഗിൽ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ 92+ കിലോയിൽ വെള്ളി മെഡൽ നേടിയ സാഗർ അഹ്ലാവത്തിനെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു :
"സാഗർ അഹ്ലാവത്ത് നന്നായി പൊരുതി! ബോക്‌സിംഗിൽ കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ വെള്ളി മെഡൽ നേടിയതിന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ ! ബോക്സിങ്ങിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ശക്തികേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒരാളായ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വിജയം യുവതലമുറ ബോക്‌സർമാർക്ക് പ്രചോദനമാകും. വരും കാലങ്ങളിലും ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അഭിമാനമായി മാറാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് കഴിയട്ടെ."
