ଶ୍ରୀ ଡି ପ୍ରକାଶ ରାଓଙ୍କର ଦୁଃଖଦ ବିୟୋଗରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଗଭୀର ଶୋକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
ଏକ ଟୁଇଟରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି, “ଶ୍ରୀ ଡି. ପ୍ରକାଶ ରାଓଙ୍କ ବିୟୋଗରେ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ତାଙ୍କର ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁପ୍ରାଣିତ କରିଚାଲିବ। ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ ସେ ସଶକ୍ତିକରଣର ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ମାଧ୍ୟମ ଭାବେ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ। କିଛି ବର୍ଷ ପୂର୍ବେ କଟକରେ ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଥିବା ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତକୁ ମନେ ପକାଉଛି। ତାଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି। ଓମ୍ ଶାନ୍ତି”।
Saddened by the demise of Shri D Prakash Rao. The outstanding work that has done will continue motivating people. He rightly saw education as a vital means to empowerment.
