PM condoles loss of lives due to accident on Nashik-Shirdi highway

Announces ex-gratia from PMNRF for the victims

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in an accident on the Nashik-Shirdi highway. Shri Modi has also announced an ex-gratia from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the victims.

The Prime Minister's office tweeted;

"Pained by the loss of lives in an accident on the Nashik-Shirdi highway. Condolences to the bereaved families. May the injured recover soon. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM Modi"

नाशिक-शिर्डी महामार्गावरील अपघातात झालेल्या जीवितहानीमुळे तीव्र दुःख झाले. पीडित कुटुंबांप्रति सहवेदना व्यक्त करतो. जखमींच्या प्रकृतीत लवकर सुधारणा होवो. मृतांच्या नातेवाईकाला पीएमएनआरएफमधून प्रत्येकी रु. 2 लाख मदत दिली जाईल. जखमींना रु.50,000 देण्यात येतील : पंतप्रधान मोदी
