The Publications Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has received seven awards at the Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP) Awards for Excellence in Book Production 2026 for excellence in publishing. The Division’s journals, books and reference publications in Hindi, English and Urdu have been recognised in various categories.

Director General, Publications Division, Dr. Dhiraj Kakadia, felicitated the editors of the award-winning books and journals and congratulated all the officers and personnel associated with this achievement.

On the occasion, Dr. Dhiraj Kakadia said, “The seven awards received by the Publications Division are a testament to the collective hard work, dedication and excellence of its officers and personnel. This recognition further motivates us to publish high-quality, credible and useful content. The Publications Division remains committed to reaching readers with outstanding books and journals in Hindi, English and Urdu, carrying important ideas and perspectives related to knowledge, literature, culture and national development.”

He further said that the books and journals published by the Division play an important role in bringing diverse and valuable content related to national development, knowledge and science, literature, culture, art and contemporary issues to readers.

The seven awards comprise four Second Prizes and three Third Prizes. The achievement reflects the Publications Division’s continued commitment to excellence in publishing, editorial quality and diversity of content.

Publications Securing Second Prizes

• Bharat 2026 (Hindi) received the Second Prize in the Reference Books – Hindi category.
• Wings to Our Hopes – Volume 2 received the Second Prize in the General and Trade Books – English category.
• Yojana – July 2026 (Hindi), themed ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’, received the Second Prize in the Journals & House Magazines – Hindi category.
• Kurukshetra – A Rural Development Monthly Since 1952 received the Second Prize in the Journals & House Magazines – English category.

Publications Securing Third Prizes

• Dharti Ki Sehat received the Third Prize in the Children’s Books (General Interest) (0–10 Years) – Hindi category.
• Rangoli Roop Sur Lay Ki received the Third Prize in the Art and Coffee Table Books – Hindi category.
• Ajkal Urdu – July 2026 received the Third Prize in the Journals & House Magazines, Indian Languages (Urdu) category.

These awards further strengthen the Publications Division’s role in publishing and disseminating credible, informative and culturally enriching content. The recognition will encourage the Division to continue bringing high-quality books, journals and reference publications to readers with authentic and public-oriented content.
