34-ാം തവണയും വോട്ടവകാശം വിനിയോഗിച്ചതിന് 106 കാരനായ ശ്യാം ശരൺ നേഗിയെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി പ്രശംസിച്ചു.
പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു:
"ഇത് ശ്ലാഘനീയമാണ്, യുവ വോട്ടർമാർക്ക് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാനും നമ്മുടെ ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്താനും ഇത് ഒരു പ്രചോദനമായി വർത്തിക്കും"
