ഏഴാമത് വനിതാ ഏഷ്യാ കപ്പ് നേടിയ ഇന്ത്യൻ വനിതാ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടീമിനെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ക്രിക്കറ്റ് കൗൺസിലിന്റെ ട്വീറ്റിന് മറുപടിയായി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു;
"നമ്മുടെ വനിതാ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടീം അവരുടെ മനക്കരുത്തും, വൈദഗ്ധ്യവും കൊണ്ട് നമ്മെ അഭിമാനഭരിതരാക്കുന്നു ! വനിതാ ഏഷ്യാ കപ്പ് നേടിയ ടീമിന് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ. അവർ മികച്ച വൈദഗ്ധ്യവും കൂട്ടായ പ്രവർത്തനവും പ്രകടമാക്കി. കളിക്കാർക്ക് അവരുടെ വരാനിരിക്കുന്ന യത്നങ്ങൾക്ക് ആശംസകൾ."
