The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu in her message on the eve of Janmashtami says: -

The life and teachings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna breathe new life into Indian cultural and philosophical heritage. Bhagwan Shri Krishna showed the path of truth, righteousness, justice, compassion and selfless service. His teachings, embodied in Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, remain an eternal source of inspiration for humanity to make prudent decisions during difficult times and to remain steadfast in moral values.

The sacred festival of Janmashtami inspires us to uphold the spirit of harmony, and devotion to duty and service.

On this auspicious occasion, let us resolve to follow the ideals of Bhagwan Shri Krishna and continue working tirelessly towards building an inclusive and developed India”.
