Union Minister Smt. Annpurna Devi Urges Citizens to Adopt Indian Handloom Products on National Handloom Day

Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Annpurna Devi has urged citizens to adopt Indian handloom products and honour the country's weavers and artisans on the occasion of National Handloom Day.
In a post on 'X' the Union Minister said that India's handloom is not just cloth, but the foundation of our culture, our traditions and the livelihood of lakhs of weaver families.
She appealed to everyone to respond to the call of the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi by sharing videos with their favourite handloom products and make the National Handloom Day people's movement even bigger. She also called upon everyone to strengthen the resolve of Vocal for Local on this day, and to raise the pride of our artisans by adopting Indian handloom products.
