മഹാകവി ഭാരതിയാർ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യ ഭാരതിയുടെ ജയന്തി ദിനത്തിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ശ്രദ്ധാഞ്ജലി അർപ്പിച്ചു.
പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു;
"മഹാനായ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യ ഭാരതിയെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജയന്തി ദിനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ വണങ്ങുന്നു. 'മഹാകവി ഭാരതിയാർ' ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ ധൈര്യത്തിന്റെയും മികച്ച ബുദ്ധിശക്തിയുടെയും മൂർത്തീകരണമാണ് . ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വികസനത്തിനും ഓരോ ഭാരതീയന്റെയും ശാക്തീകരണത്തിനുമായി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് മഹത്തായ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ആശയങ്ങൾ സാക്ഷാത്കരിക്കാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയാണ്."
