ബർമിംഗ്ഹാം കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ 109 കിലോ ഭാരോദ്വഹനത്തില്‍ വെങ്കല മെഡല്‍ നേടിയ ലവ്പ്രീത് സിംഗിനെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു;
പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ 109 കിലോഗ്രാം ഭാരോദ്വഹനത്തില്‍ വെങ്കല മെഡല്‍ നേടിയ പ്രതിഭാധനനായ ലവ്പ്രീത് സിംഗിന് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്‍. ചെറുപ്പക്കാരനും, ഊര്‍ജ്ജസ്വലനുമായ ലവ്പ്രീത് സ്പോര്‍ട്സിനോടുള്ള തന്റെ ക്ഷമാശീലവും, അര്‍പ്പണബോധവും കൊണ്ട് എല്ലാവരുടേയും മനസ്സിനെ കീഴടക്കി. ഭാവിയിലെ എല്ലാ ശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ക്കും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഏറ്റവും മികച്ചത് ആശംസിക്കുന്നു.
