પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ સરદાર પટેલને તેમની પુણ્યતિથિ પર શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપી છે.
એક ટ્વિટમાં, પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું; "સરદાર પટેલને તેમની પુણ્યતિથિ પર યાદ કરીએ. ભારત હંમેશા તેમની સ્મારક સેવા, તેમની વહીવટી કુશળતા અને આપણા રાષ્ટ્રને એક કરવા માટેના અથાગ પ્રયાસો માટે તેમનો આભારી રહેશે."
