संसदेचे हिवाळी अधिवेशन सुरु होण्या पूर्वी आज सरकारने सर्वपक्षीय नेत्यांची बैठक घेतली. बैठकीच्या सुरुवातीला केंद्रीय संसदीय कामकाज मंत्री प्रल्हाद जोशी यांनी बैठकीत आगामी संसदीय सत्रासंबंधी माहिती दिली‌. संसदेचे 2021 चे हिवाळी अधिवेशन सोमवारपासून म्हणजेच 29-11-2021 पासून सुरू होत आहे आणि हे सत्र गुरुवार दिनांक 23 डिसेंबर 2021 पर्यंत चालेल.

पंचवीस दिवस सुरू असणाऱ्या या सत्रात एकूण 19 बैठका होतील.  या सत्रात चर्चिल्या जाणार असलेल्या मुद्द्यांबद्दल 5 व 27 ऑक्टोबर 2021 रोजी दोन बैठका विविध मंत्रालय किंवा विभागांमधील सचिव आणि वरिष्ठ अधिकारी यांच्यासह घेतल्या गेल्या. या बैठकांमध्ये ठरल्याप्रमाणे साधारणपणे 37 विषय संसदेच्या या सत्रात चर्चेला घेतले जातील . यामध्ये 36 विधेयके आणि एक अर्थविषयक मुद्दा चर्चेला घेतला जाणार आहे.

सदनात सर्व नियम आणि प्रक्रिया यांचे पालन करत होणाऱ्या चर्चेसाठी सरकार सदैव तयार आहे असे सांगून संसदीय कामकाज मंत्र्यांनी सदनातील कामकाज सुरळीत चालण्यासाठी सर्व  पक्षांनी सहकार्य करावे अशी विनंती  केली.

या वेळी सर्व पक्षांच्या नेत्यांनी उपस्थित केलेले मुद्दे ऐकून घेतल्यानंतर केंद्रीय संरक्षण मंत्री राजनाथ सिंग यांनी महत्वाच्या मुद्यांवर व्यवस्थित चर्चा झाल्याबद्दल समाधान व्यक्त केले. संसदेत  विस्तृत चर्चेची गरज सर्वपक्षीय नेत्यांनी व्यक्त केली हे अधोरेखित करत, सरकारला सुद्धा संसदेमध्ये व्यवस्थित चर्चा अपेक्षित आहे असे त्यांनी नमूद केले.
