लोकांच्या  जीवनात सकारात्मक बदल घडवण्यासाठी विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञानाचा उपयोग करणाऱ्या देशातल्या सर्व वैज्ञानिकांची  पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी प्रशंसा केली आहे.

राष्ट्रीय तंत्रज्ञान दिनानिमित्त पंतप्रधानांनी ट्वीट केले आहे. राष्ट्रीय तंत्रज्ञान दिनी आपला देश अशा सर्वांना प्रणाम करत आहे, ज्यांनी इतरांच्या जीवनात सकारात्मक बदल घडवण्यासाठी तंत्रज्ञानाचा उपयोग केला.1998 मध्ये या दिवशी आपल्या वैज्ञानिकांनी केलेल्या   अद्वितीय कामगिरीची आठवण आपण करतो. भारताच्या इतिहासातला हा ऐतिहासिक क्षण होता असे पंतप्रधानांनी म्हटले आहे.

11 मे 1998 रोजी झालेल्या पोखरण चाचण्यांचा उल्लेख करत तेव्हा मजबूत राजकीय नेतृत्वामुळेच अणू चाचण्या शक्य होत्या. मन की बात या कार्यक्रमात या चाचण्यांबाबत केलेले आपले वक्तव्य  पंतप्रधानांनी सादर केले आहे.

‘1998 मध्ये पोखरण इथे झालेल्या चाचण्यांनी हे सिध्द केले की, मजबूत राजकीय नेतृत्व मोठे बदल घडवू शकते. पोखरण बाबत मन की बात या कार्यक्रमात भारताचे वैज्ञानिक आणि माजी पंतप्रधान अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी यांच्या महान नेतृत्वाचा आपण उल्लेख केल्याचे पंतप्रधानांनी म्हटले आहे.

'जगाला कोविड-19 पासून मुक्त करण्याच्या प्रयत्नांत तंत्रज्ञान अनेकांना मदत करत आहे. कोरोना विषाणूवर विजय मिळवण्यासाठी संशोधन करण्यात अग्रेसर असणाऱ्या  सर्वाँना माझा सलाम.आपला ग्रह आरोग्यसंपन्न  आणि  उत्तम  करण्यासाठी तंत्रज्ञानाशी आपण  सांगड घालत  राहू या' असे पंतप्रधानांनी म्हटले आहे.
