Prime Minister pays tribute to Jagadguru Basaveshwara on Basava Jayanti

On the auspicious occasion of Basava Jayanti, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to the profound wisdom and enduring legacy of Jagadguru Basaveshwara. Remembering the 12th-century philosopher and social reformer, the Prime Minister stated on X in different posts:

“On the auspicious occasion of Basava Jayanthi, we remember the profound wisdom of Jagadguru Basaveshwara. His vision for society and his tireless efforts to uplift the marginalised continue to guide us.”

“ಬಸವ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಶುಭ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರರ ಆಳವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನ ಮತ್ತು ವಂಚಿತರನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆತ್ತಲು ಅವರ ಅವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಸದಾ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತವೆ.”
