Respected Mr Speaker,

Over the past three days, several hon’ble senior members have expressed their thoughts. Almost all of their views have reached me in detail. I have also listened to some speeches myself. Respected Mr Speaker, today, I am here to express my gratitude to the millions of citizens of this country who have repeatedly shown their trust in our government. And Mr Speaker, it is said that God is very benevolent, and it is God's will that He fulfils His desires through someone or the other, making someone a medium. I consider this a blessing from God that the Opposition came up with a no-confidence motion as willed by God. This was also God's command in 2018 when my colleagues from the Opposition brought a no-confidence motion against me. At that time, I had also said that a no-confidence motion is not a floor test for our government rather it is their own floor test. I had said that on that day as well. And as it turned out, the Opposition could not gather as many votes as they had when the vote took place. And not only that, when we went to the people (to seek votes), the people also declared no confidence in them with full force. And, NDA got more seats and so did BJP in the elections which were held. In a way, the no-confidence motion of the Opposition is auspicious for us, and I can see today that you have decided that the NDA and the BJP will come back with a grand victory in the 2024 elections, breaking all the previous records, with the blessings of the people.

Respected Mr Speaker,

For the past three days, there have been extensive discussions on various topics regarding the Opposition's proposal. It would have been better if the Opposition had actively participated in the proceedings of the House with seriousness right from the beginning of the session. In the last few days, both this House (Lok Sabha) and our other House (Rajya Sabha) have passed several important bills, including the Jan Vishwas Bill, Mediation Bill, Dental Commission Bill, bills related to tribal communities, Digital Data Protection Bill, National Research Foundation Bill, a bill related to Coastal Aqua Culture, and many other crucial bills. These were bills that were meant to safeguard the rights of our fishermen, with Kerala expected to benefit the most. Hence, there were greater expectations from Kerala's MPs that they would actively participate in such bills. However, politics has become so dominant over them that they seem to be unconcerned about the fishermen's well-being.

Here, the National Research Foundation Bill was presented. It was a Bill aimed at providing a new direction for the aspirations of the country's youth. It was envisioned with a long-term perspective on how India could emerge as a science power, which you objected to as well. The Digital Data Protection Bill was linked to the expectations of the country's youth, as the future is going to be technology-driven. Today, data is considered as valuable as oil or gold, and it required serious discussion. But politics was your priority. There were several bills meant for villages, the poor, the Dalits, the marginalized, and the tribal communities, for discussions and contribution to their well-being. These bills were connected to their futures. But they (the Opposition) have no interest in this. The work for which they have been sent here by the people of the country, they have betrayed that trust as well. Some opposition parties, through their behaviour and conduct, have proven that they care more about their party than the country. The party is bigger than the country for them; the party comes before the country. I think that you are not concerned about the hunger of the poor; your hunger for power is what is driving you. You do not care about the future of the country's youth. You are worried about your political future.

And respected Mr Speaker,

Did you allow the House to run even for a day? You gathered only for a vote of no confidence? And you, along with your staunchly corrupt colleagues, were forced to comply with their conditions and discuss this vote of no confidence. What kind of discussion did you have on this matter? And I can see that even your supporters on social media are very disappointed; this is your current situation.

And Mr Speaker, the fun part of this debate is that the Opposition organized the fielding, but it's the treasury benches which hit boundaries and sixes. And the Opposition has been continuously throwing no-balls on the no-confidence motion. The century is being scored from the treasury benches, whereas no balls are being bowled from the Opposition’s end.

Mr Speaker,

I would urge our colleagues from the Opposition: Why don't you come prepared? Put in a little effort. I gave you five years to work hard; I said in 2018 to come prepared in 2023. You couldn't even manage five years. What a plight you are in, how pitiful!

Respected Mr Speaker,

Our Opposition colleagues have a strong desire and a natural inclination to create an impression and make headlines. But don't forget that the nation is also watching you. Every single word of yours is being carefully heard by the country. However, each time, you have given the country nothing but disappointment. And as far as the behaviour of the Opposition is concerned, I must also say that those whose record is in disarray are also trying to hold us accountable.

Respected Mr Speaker,

It is indeed intriguing how certain things in this vote of no confidence were so unusual and unprecedented, neither heard nor seen before, nor even imagined. The leader of the largest opposition party's name wasn't even in the list of speakers. Look at the past examples: In 1999, when a no-confidence motion was brought against the Vajpayee government, Sharad Pawar was leading the opposition. He led the debate. In 2003, during Atal ji's government, Sonia ji was the leader of the Opposition, and she led the no-confidence motion. In 2018, it was Kharge ji, the leader of the Opposition, who prominently led and brought forward the vote of no confidence. But this time, what happened to Adhir Babu? His own party didn't give him a chance to speak. This was even acknowledged yesterday by Amit Bhai with a sense of responsibility that he wasn't feeling well (that Adhir Babu was sidelined). It was the generosity of Amit Bhai that despite his time being over, he still gave you a chance to speak today. But they are experts in turning everything into a mess. I don't know what your compulsion is. Why was Adhir Babu sidelined? Who knows if someone called from Kolkata yesterday, and the Congress repeatedly humiliates him. Sometimes, they remove him from the position of floor leader temporarily using the pretext of elections. We express our complete sympathy for Adhir Babu. Suresh ji, please laugh out loud.

Respected Mr Speaker,

In the life and history of any nation, there comes a time when it breaks free from old constraints and takes steps forward with new energy, new aspirations, new dreams, and new resolutions. In this 21st century era, I am speaking in this sacred temple of democracy with great seriousness, and I am speaking after many years of experience, that this era is the era of possibilities, the era where we have the opportunity to fulfil every dream for India. And all of us are in this time period, whether it's you, me, or the millions and millions of people in this country. This time period is of immense significance, of utmost importance.

In a changing world, and I want to say these words with great conviction that the impact of the changes that are happening will affect this country for the next thousand years. The efforts of the 1.4 billion countrymen in this era, with their achievements, efforts, strength, and capabilities, will lay a strong foundation for the coming one thousand years. Therefore, in this era, we all have a great responsibility that we should all have a single focus - the development of the nation. The demand of the time is to unite wholeheartedly to fulfil the aspirations of the people of the country, to turn determination into success. The collective strength of the 1.4 billion citizens of this nation can elevate us to great heights. The world has recognized the potential of our young generation, and we should have faith in them. Our youth, who are dreaming big, have the ability to turn those dreams into reality with determination. And therefore, respected Speaker, the people of the country formed a government with a full majority in 2014 after 30 years. And based on that track record, the youth of the nation knows very well the ability to nurture their dreams and fulfil their resolutions? And that is why we were given the opportunity to serve, and with greater strength once again in 2019.

Respected Mr Speaker,

It is the responsibility of every individual in this House to provide opportunities for the dreams, aspirations, and expectations of India's youth, according to their ambitions. While being in government, we have also made diligent efforts to fulfil this responsibility. We have given the youth of India a corruption-free government. We have instilled the courage in today's professionals, the youth of India, to soar high in the open sky by providing them opportunities. We have also taken charge of correcting India's tarnished image in the world and have elevated it to new heights. Even now, some individuals are attempting to tarnish our image, but the world has recognized our country and believes in how India can contribute to the future of the world. This confidence of the world in India's potential is steadily growing.

And what have our opposition colleagues done during this period? When there is such a favourable environment with possibilities all around, they made an unsuccessful attempt to shatter the people's self-confidence by proposing a vote of no confidence. Today, India's youths have astonished the world by launching new start-ups in record numbers. Today, there is a record influx of foreign investment in India. Today, India's exports are touching new heights. They cannot bear to hear any good news about India... that's their state of mind. Today, the hearts of the poor are filled with confidence to achieve their dreams. Today, poverty is rapidly decreasing in the country. According to the report of NITI Aayog, more than 13.5 crore people have been lifted out of poverty in the last five years.

Respected Mr Speaker,

The IMF states in its working paper that India has nearly eradicated extreme poverty. The IMF has referred to India's DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) and other social welfare schemes as ‘logistics marvels’.

Respected Mr Speaker,

The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that four lakh lives are being saved in India annually due to the Jal Jeevan Mission. These four lakh individuals are my poor, distressed, marginalized, and underprivileged family members. They are the people who have been compelled to struggle for survival within the lower echelons of our society. The WHO is emphasizing that the lives of these four lakh individuals have been saved. It says through its analysis that the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Campaign) has saved three lakh lives from preventable deaths.

Respected Mr Speaker,

If India becomes clean, the lives of three lakh people are saved. Who are these three lakh people? They are the ones who are forced to live in slums and shanties and who have to navigate through various hardships. They are the people from my poor families, those living in urban settlements, those in rural areas, and the underprivileged segments of society, whose lives have been saved. What has UNICEF said? UNICEF has stated that the poor are saving 50,000 rupees annually due to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. However, some opposition parties, including the Congress, remain skeptical of these achievements in India. The truth that the world is recognizing from afar is often not visible to these individuals who reside here.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Distrust and arrogance are ingrained in their nature. They are unable to see the faith of the people. Now, what can the country do with this ostrich-like approach?

Respected Mr Speaker,

I do not agree with the mindset of those who cling to old beliefs. However, they say that when something auspicious happens, when there is good fortune, when positive things occur at home, and when children wear nice clothes and appear neat and clean, they apply a black mark on them as a protective measure. Today, as the country experiences all-round prosperity, as there is applause and cheers resounding throughout the nation, I express my gratitude to you. Just as a black mark is applied as a form of protective measure, you have come to the House wearing black attire to protect this prosperity. For this as well, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Over the past three days, our colleagues from the opposition have been liberally using foul language, flipping through dictionaries to find as many offensive words as possible. They seem to have collected a whole array of derogatory terms from various sources. By now, they must have exhausted their collection and feeling a bit relieved after spewing so many offensive words. And of course, these individuals persistently target me day and night. It's their nature. And what's their favourite slogan? "Modi, your grave will be dug." “Modi, your grave will be dug.” This is their preferred slogan. However, their insults, offensive language, and undemocratic discourse also serve as a tonic for me. I take their negativity and turn it into a positive force. And why do they do this? Why does this happen? Today, I want to share a secret with the House. I firmly believe that the opposition members have been bestowed with a secret boon. Yes, a secret boon has been granted to them. And the boon is that whoever they wish ill for, it will turn out to be for the better for that person. An example is right in front of you. Twenty years have passed, and what all has not happened, what all was not done. But it has actually turned out for the better. So, you have been given a significant secret boon. I can substantiate this secret boon with three examples.

You may be aware that these individuals had claimed that the banking sector would collapse, it would be ruined, and the country would be destroyed. What all they had not said? They even brought in foreign experts, and tried to lend credibility to their statements through them, hoping that people might believe them if their assertions came from these so-called eminent individuals. They made extensive efforts to spread disappointment and rumours about the health of our banks. And what happened when they wished ill for the banks? Our public sector banks performed even better, with net profits soaring more than double. These same individuals talked about the phone banking scam, and as a result, led the country to a serious NPA crisis.

But today, we have emerged with renewed strength after successfully navigating the challenges posed due to the mountain of NPAs created by them. Today, Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has elaborated on the significant profits that have been generated by these banks. Another example is our government-owned company, HAL, which manufactures helicopters for defence forces. These individuals had made numerous statements about HAL. What all they did not say about HAL? The language they used was intended to cause significant damage globally. They claimed that HAL was in ruins, that the defence industry in India had been destroyed, and much more.

Not only that, as we have seen recently, videos are being shot in fields to portray a certain narrative, similarly, videos were shot at the gates of the HAL factory, gathering workers in a meeting and trying to provoke them. They were told that they have no future, that their children will die hungry, and that HAL is sinking. Such negative messages were spread about such an important institution of our country. But today, HAL is touching new heights of success. HAL has achieved its highest-ever revenue. Despite their concerted efforts to level serious allegations, and provoke its workers, HAL has emerged as a symbol of India's progress and prestige.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Those whom you wish ill upon, how they progress forward, I provide a third example. You know what was said about LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India). LIC was said to be in ruins, the money of the poor sinking, where would the poor go who had put in their hard-earned money into LIC? What kinds of speculations, how much imaginative power they had, how many allegations their associates made, they were all saying those things. But today, LIC is consistently growing stronger. Even in the stock market, this advice holds true for those interested in keeping an eye on shares: You should bet on the government companies which they criticise and everything will turn out well.

Respected Mr Speaker,

These individuals who predict the demise of certain institutions of the country, those institutions' fortunes actually shine. And I believe that just as they curse the nation, curse democracy, I am fully confident that the country is going to become stronger, democracy is also going to become stronger, and we are destined to become stronger.

Respected Mr Speaker,

These are the people who do not have faith in the capabilities of the country. They do not have faith in the hard work of the nation, they do not believe in the achievements of the country. A few days ago, I said that in the next term of our government, in the third term, India will become the world's third-largest economy.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Now, if they had even a little bit of trust in the future of the country. When we make the claim that in the coming five years, in the third term, we will elevate the country's economy to the third position, a responsible opposition should ask, "Alright, tell us how you're going to do it, Nirmala ji, tell us how you are going to do it. Modi ji, tell us how you're planning to achieve it. Show us your roadmap - do this, or do that." Now, I have to teach all these things as well. But, they could have offered some suggestions. They could have said, "We will go among the people during elections and explain that while they (the ruling party) talk about the third position of the country, we will bring the country to the first position and achieve this and that." But this is the tragedy with our opposition and its political discourses. What are the people from the Congress saying? Look at the deprivation of their imagination. After staying in power for so many years, why are we still hearing inexperienced remarks?

What do they (Congress members) say? They claim that there's no need to do anything to reach this goal; it will happen naturally to secure the third position. I think it's because of this mindset that they have been dormant for so many years, believing that things will happen on their own. They say that the country will reach the third position without doing anything. And if we consider the Congress's perspective, if everything is going to happen on its own, it implies that the Congress lacks policy, intention, vision, understanding of the global economy, and knowledge of India's economic strength.

Respected Mr Speaker,

This is the reason why poverty was exacerbated during Congress's rule. The country was on the verge of bankruptcy in 1991. The economy ranked around the tenth, eleventh, twelfth position in the world, fluctuating in between during the rule of the Congress party. However, India had secured its place in the top five after 2014. Congress members might think that this transformation happened through some kind of magical wand. But today, I want to inform the House, respected Speaker, that "Reform, Perform, and Transform" were achieved through meticulous planning, hard work, consistent effort, and perseverance. It's due to these plans and unwavering hard work that our country has reached this point. This dedication to planning and hard work will continue, with new reforms as needed, channelling full force into performance, and the result will be that we will reach the third position.

Respected Mr Speaker,

I want to express the country's confidence in words as well. And the country's belief is that when you move a no confidence motion in 2028, this nation will already be among the top three. This is the country's belief.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Our opposition friends have a disposition replete with disbelief. We gave the call for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan from the Red Fort. However, they consistently expressed disbelief. How could this be possible? Even Gandhi ji gave a call and spoke about it, what happened? How can cleanliness be achieved? Their thoughts are filled with disbelief. We emphasized the need for toilets to liberate mothers and daughters from open defecation, and then they question, can such issues be discussed from the Red Fort? “Is this the country's priority?” When we spoke about opening Jan Dhan accounts, they responded with the same disappointment. “What is the Jan Dhan account? Where is the money in the hands of the poor? What's in their pocket? What will they bring and what will they do?” We talked about yoga, we talked about Ayurveda, we talked about promoting it, but even that was met with cynicism. We discussed "Start-up India," and they spread disappointment about that too. “Nobody can create a start-up”. We talked about Digital India, and what grand speeches were given by learned individuals. “The people of India are illiterate and they don't even know how to use a mobile phone. How will the people of India embrace digital?” Today, the country is progressing in Digital India. We talked about "Make in India." Wherever they went, they made fun of "Make in India."

Respected Mr Speaker,

The history of the Congress party and its associates has been such that they have never had faith in India or its capabilities.

Respected Mr Speaker,

And they placed their trust in whom? I would like to remind the House today. Pakistan used to carry out attacks along the border. Every day, terrorists would come to our country and after that, Pakistan would raise its hands, deny any responsibility, and claim that they had no involvement. No one was ready to take responsibility. Despite this, they had so much love for Pakistan that they immediately believed whatever Pakistan said. Pakistan used to say that terrorist attacks will continue, but talks should also continue. Congress used to believe them to the extent that they thought if Pakistan is saying it, it must be true. This is their mindset. Kashmir was burning in the fire of terrorism day and night. It continued to burn, but the Congress government had no faith in Kashmir or its common citizens. They had faith in the Hurriyat, they had faith in separatists, and they had faith in those who carried the flag of Pakistan. India conducted surgical strikes against terrorism. India carried out airstrikes, but they had no faith in the Indian armed forces. They had faith in the claims of our enemies. This was their disposition.

Mr Speaker,

Today, whenever anyone speaks ill of India in the world, they immediately believe in it and catch onto it. They have such a magnetic power that enables them to grasp anything against India instantly. For example, if any foreign agency says that many countries facing hunger are better off than India, even if it's a false statement, they catch onto it and start spreading it in India, holding press conferences. What fun they get in tarnishing India's reputation. They have a tendency to pay attention to baseless things which have no value, and then they immediately amplify it in India, make efforts to spread it. When the Corona pandemic struck, India's scientists developed the Made in India vaccines. But they didn't have faith in India's vaccines; they had faith in foreign vaccines. This is their mindset.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Millions of citizens of the country have shown their faith in India's vaccines. They don't have faith in India's capabilities. They don't have faith in the people of India. But I want to tell this House that even this country has a deep sense of No Confidence towards Congress. Congress has become so immersed in its arrogance, so engulfed in its ego, that it can't even see the ground beneath its feet.

Respected Mr Speaker,

It has taken decades for the Congress to achieve victory in many parts of the country. In Tamil Nadu, the Congress last won in 1962. For 61 years, the people of Tamil Nadu have been saying "No Confidence" in the Congress. In West Bengal, the Congress last won in 1972. For the past 51 years, the people of West Bengal have been expressing "No Confidence" in the Congress. In Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Gujarat, the Congress last won in 1985. For the past 38 years, the people there have been saying "No Confidence" in the Congress. In Tripura, the Congress last won in 1988. For 35 years, the people of Tripura have been expressing "No Confidence" in the Congress. In Odisha, the Congress last won in 1995. For the past 28 years, Odisha has been giving the same answer: "No Confidence" in the Congress. "No Confidence" in the Congress.

Respected Mr Speaker,

In Nagaland, the Congress last won in 1988. People here have also been expressing "No Confidence" in the Congress for the past 25 years. "No Confidence" in the Congress. In Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal, the Congress doesn't even have a single legislator. The people have repeatedly expressed "No Confidence" in the Congress.

Respected Mr Speaker,

On this occasion, I want to talk about something for the benefit of everyone. I'm speaking for your well-being. You will become tired, very tired. I am telling you for your own good. Today, on this occasion, I also want to express my condolences to our opposition colleagues. Just a few days ago, you jointly carried out the last rites of a nearly two-decade-old UPA in Bengaluru. You carried out its final rites. According to democratic practices, I should have expressed sympathy and condolences at that moment. I should have expressed empathy. But it's not my fault for the delay, because while you were performing the last rites of UPA on the one hand, on the other hand, you were celebrating and jubilating. You were celebrating by putting new plaster on an old ruin, celebrating putting new paint on an old wall. You made such a grand show of displaying an electric vehicle for a decades-old scrap car, and interestingly, you started fighting over who should get the credit for it even before the show could end. I was amazed that you would go among the people with this alliance. I want to tell my opposition colleagues that the one you are following doesn't even understand the essence and values of this country. Generations after generations, these people couldn't even comprehend the difference between red chilli and green chilli. But I know many of you, you are the ones who understand the Indian psyche, you are the ones who understand the temperament of India. The reality of those who try to deceive by changing appearances becomes evident. It is said for those who only have the support of a name:

“दूर युद्ध से भागते, दूर युद्ध से भागते

नाम रखा रणधीर,

भाग्यचंद की आज तक, सोई है तकदीर,

(While fleeing from distant wars, fleeing from distant wars,

But named as the warrior Randhir,

Bhagyachand's destiny remains dormant till today)

Respected Mr Speaker,

Their plight is such that to keep themselves alive, they had to seek refuge in the NDA. But their habit of arrogance, denoted by the letter ‘I’, doesn't leave them. Hence, they added two ‘I’s in the NDA. These are two ‘I's of arrogance! The first ‘I’ is the arrogance of twenty-six parties, and the second ‘I’ is the arrogance of one family. They have also snatched NDA and shattered pieces of India - I.N.D.I.A.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Let our DMK brothers listen, let the Congress members also listen. Mr Speaker, the UPA believes that by using the name of the country, its credibility can be enhanced. But the supporting parties of the Congress, the unwavering companions of the Congress, a minister in the Tamil Nadu government, just two days ago, said, 'I.N.D.I.A.' holds no significance for them. 'I.N.D.I.A.' holds no significance for them. According to them, Tamil Nadu doesn't even exist within India.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Today, I want to say with pride that Tamil Nadu is that state where the streams of patriotism have always flowed. The state that gave us Rajaji, the state that gave us Kamaraj, the state that gave us MGR, the state that gave us Abdul Kalam. Today, this Tamil Nadu is echoing these voices.

Respected Mr Speaker,

When there are individuals within your alliance who deny the existence of their own country, then where will your vehicle come to a halt? Take a moment for introspection and if there is a shred of conscience left, do contemplate upon it.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Their perspective on their own name is not for today, the fascination they have with their own name is not for today. This perspective is decades old. They believe that by changing their name, they can rule over the country. The poor see their name everywhere, but their actions are nowhere to be seen. Their name is on hospitals, but there is no treatment. Their name hangs over educational institutions, roads, parks; their name is on schemes for the welfare of the poor, sports awards, airports, museums. They initiated plans under their name, and then they resorted to corruption worth billions of rupees under those very plans. The person on the last mile of society wanted to see work happening at the grassroots level, but what they got was just the family's name.

Mr Speaker,

Nothing related to the identity of the Congress truly belongs to them. They have nothing which belongs to them. From election symbols to ideologies, everything that the Congress claims as their own has been borrowed from someone else.

Respected Mr Speaker,

To cover up their shortcomings, they have not only borrowed election symbols and ideologies, but it shows the arrogance of the party for the changes that have taken place. It also shows how they have been in a state of denial since 2014. Who was the founder of the party? A.O. Hume was a foreigner who established the party. You are aware that in 1920, a new energy was infused into India's struggle for freedom. A new flag was raised, and the nation embraced it. However, the Congress, seeing the power of that flag, decided to take it away as well. They looked at the symbol and thought it would be suitable for driving the political vehicle. This game has been going on since 1920. They thought that if people see the Tricolour flag, they will believe that they are being talked about. They played this game, using even the name of Gandhi to sway voters. Each time, they have stolen that as well. Look at the election symbols of Congress - two bulls, a calf, and a clenched fist. These symbols represent their actions, their mindset, and clearly show that everything is centred round one family's control.

Respected Mr Speaker,

This is not an I.N.D.I.A. alliance, this is not an I.N.D.I.A. alliance. This is a ‘Ghamandiya’ (arrogant) alliance. And everyone wants to become the groom in this procession. Everyone wants to become the Prime Minister.

Respected Mr Speaker,

This alliance hasn't even considered where you are with whom in which state. In West Bengal, you are against the TMC and Communist Party, but in Delhi, you are together. And Adhir Babu, what was the behaviour of the Communist Party towards you during the 1991 West Bengal Assembly elections. It is still recorded in history. Well, 1991 is now in the past, but last year in Wayanad, Kerala, those who vandalized the Congress office, they are now friendly with them. They can change their label from the outside, but what about their old sins? Those very sins will drown you. How will you hide these sins from the public? You cannot hide, and the state they are in today, that's why I want to say:

अभी हालात ऐसे हैं, अभी हालात ऐसे हैं

इसलिए हाथों में हाथ,

जहां हालात तो बदले,

फिर छुरियां भी निकलेंगी।

(The current situation is like this, the current situation is like this

that's why hands in hands,

where conditions will change,

even knives will be drawn)

Respected Mr Speaker,

This arrogant alliance is the biggest representation of dynastic politics in the country. The freedom fighters of our nation, the framers of our Constitution, always opposed dynastic politics. Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Maulana Azad, Gopinath Bordoloi, Loknath Jayaprakash, Dr. Lohia, and all the names you see, they openly criticized dynastic politics because it harms the common citizens of the country. Dynastic politics deprives the ordinary citizen of their rights and privileges, and these eminent figures always emphasized that the country must move away from a system based on family, name, and money. However, the Congress has never liked this idea.

Respected Mr Speaker,

We have always seen how those who oppose dynastic politics are treated with hatred. The Congress party favours dynastic politics. The Congress party favours feudalism, where the big leaders and their sons and daughters occupy top positions. Even those who are outside the family circle, for them, the message is clear: unless you become part of this royal court, you have no future. This has been their approach. This feudal system has led to the fall of several wickets, damaging the rights of many. The Congress used all its might to defeat Baba Saheb Ambedkar twice. Congress leaders mocked Dr. Ambedkar's clothes; those are the same people. Babu Jagjivan Ram questioned the Emergency, and even he was not spared by the Congress. He was tortured. There are several personalities like Morarji Desai, Chaudhary Charan Singh, Chandrashekhar ji, whose rights were consistently undermined due to the feudal mindset. Those who were not part of this feudal system, those who were not part of the dynastic politics, even placing their portraits in Parliament was met with resistance. Their portraits were allowed in the Central Hall when the BJP-led non-Congress governments came to power after 1990. Lohia ji's portrait was placed in Parliament in 1991 when a non-Congress government was formed. Netaji's portrait was placed in 1978 when the Janata Party was in power. Lal Bahadur Shastri and Chaudhary Charan Singh's portraits were placed in 1993 by the non-Congress government. Congress has always downplayed Sardar Patel's contributions. Our government had the good fortune to build the Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world, as a tribute to his legacy. We established the Prime Minister's Museum in Delhi, paying homage to all former Prime Ministers. The PM Museum stands above party lines, beyond party affiliation. They don't even realize that if someone outside their family becomes Prime Minister, they don't accept or recognize it.

Respected Mr Speaker,

Many times, even with the intention of saying something negative, when an effort is made, some truth also emerges. And it's true that we all have experienced this sometimes that the truth does come out. Hanuman didn't burn Lanka; it was the arrogance that caused the fire. And this is absolutely true. Look, the public is also a form of Lord Rama. And that's why 400 became 40. Hanuman didn't burn Lanka; it was the arrogance that burned it, and that's why it became 400 to 40.

Respected Mr Speaker,

The truth is that the country's people have elected a full majority government twice after thirty years. But how come the son of a poor man could end up here? The rights you had, the values you held for your family generations, how did he end up here? This thorn still troubles you, it doesn't let you sleep. And the people of the country won't let you sleep either and they won't let you sleep in 2024 either.

There was a time when cakes were cut on their birthdays inside airplanes. Today, that same airplane carries vaccines for the poor. That's the difference.

There was a time when clothes for dry cleaning used to come by airplane. Today, the poor, wearing ‘Hawai Chappals’, are flying in airplanes!

There was a time when naval warships were used for vacations and for having fun. Today the same naval ships are used to bring back Indians stranded abroad to their homes, and to bring the poor back to their homes.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Those who are royal in terms of their conduct, behaviour and character, and whose minds work like that of a modern monarch, they ought to have problems with a poor man's son standing here. After all, they are famous people by name while I believe in work.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

I get an opportunity to say certain things on certain occasions for which I do not have to decide beforehand. There are many such coincidences when these things happen. Just look at the coincidence - yesterday, somebody mentioned speaking from the heart. The country has known the condition of their for a very long time, but now people also know about their heart.

And Mr. Speaker,

Their love for Modi is so strong that they think of Modi 24 hours a day and even in their dreams. If Modi drinks water in the middle of his speech, they would brag, "Modi has been taught a lesson”. If I venture out in the hot summer to see the public, and wipe my sweat in the process, then they would again say, "look, Modi is sweating”. Look at their method of survival! I quote from the lines of a song:-

डूबने वाले को तिनके का सहारा ही बहुत,

दिल बहल जाए फकत, इतना इशारा ही बहुत।

इतने पर भी आसमां वाला गिरा दे बिजलियां,

कोई बतला दे जरा डूबता फिर क्‍या करे।

Hon'ble Speaker,

I understand the problem of Congress. For years, they have been trying to launch the same old failed product again and again. Every time that launch fails. And as a result, their hatred towards the voters has also touched the sky. Their launch fails, and as a result they direct that frustration and hatred towards the public. But what do the PR people propagate? They call it a 'Mohabbat Ki Dukaan' (shop of love) and that's where their ecosystem starts from. But the people of the country are terming it as 'Loot Ki Dukaan' and marketing lies. There is hatred, there are scams, there is appeasement, and twisted minds. The country had been burning in the fire of dynastic politics for decades. And your shop has sold emergency, division, atrocities on Sikhs, and several lies; it has sold the history and the evidence of Uri's truth! Shame on you sellers of hatred, because you have sold the self-respect of the army!

Hon'ble Speaker,

Many of us sitting here are from rural or poor backgrounds. Here in this house a large number of people come from villages and small towns and if a person from the village goes abroad, he keeps talking about it for years. Even if he goes abroad once or twice, he keeps mentioning that visit for years. It is quite natural for a poor person from the village who never even visited Delhi or Mumbai but got a chance to visit America or Europe, to keep mentioning about his trips. Similarly, those who have never grown a radish in a pot, are bound to get surprised on seeing an entire field.

Mr. Speaker,

These people, who have never been on the ground, who have always seen the poverty of others from inside their cars just by rolling the window of the car down, are finding everything surprising. When such people describe the condition of India, they forget that their family ruled India for 50 years. In a way, while describing this form of India, they are mentioning the failures of their forefathers. History is a witness to this. And they won't succeed in it; that's why they keep launching new ways or methods.

Hon'ble Speaker,

These people know that their new shop will shut down in a few days. And today in the midst of this discussion, I would like to caution the people of the country about the economic policy of this arrogant coalition. This arrogant coalition in the country wants such an economy, which makes the country weak, rather than making it strong. We can clearly see that the Congress and its allies want to move forward with economic policies followed by the countries around us. They are playing the game of getting votes by misusing the treasury. Just look at the condition of the countries around us. And I want to tell the country that I don't expect them to change, but the public will definitely force them to mend their ways.

Hon'ble Speaker,

These incidents are causing a bad impact on our country as well as our states.The people of these states are facing the consequences and new burdens because of empty promises made to win the elections. And announcements are being made to stall the development projects.

Hon'ble Speaker,

I can clearly see the result of the economic policies of this arrogant coalition. And that's why I want to warn the countrymen, tell them the truth. These people, this arrogant alliance, is the guarantee of India's bankruptcy. India's bankruptcy is guaranteed. It is a guarantee to sink the economy. This is a guarantee of double digit inflation. This is a guarantee of policy paralysis. It's a guarantee of Instability. This is a guarantee of corruption. This is a guarantee of appeasement. This is the guarantee of dynastic politics. This is a guarantee of massive unemployment. This is a guarantee of terror and violence. This is a guarantee of pulling India back by two centuries.

Hon'ble Mr. speaker,

They can never give a guarantee of making India a top 3 economy. Modi guarantees to the country that in my third term, I will bring India to the top 3 position. This is my guarantee to the country. However, they can never even think of making the country developed. These people cannot do anything in that direction.

Hon'ble Speaker,

Those who do not have trust in democracy are ready to narrate first but do not have the patience to listen. They verbally abuse and run away; throw garbage and run away; spread lies and run away. This is their game. This country cannot expect anything more from them. If they had shown some interest in the Home Minister's discussion on Manipur, only then Manipur could have been discussed in detail. Every aspect could have been discussed. And they too could have got a chance to say a lot of things. But they were not interested in the discussion and yesterday when Amit bhai had placed the matter in detail, the country was also surprised to see that these people could spread lies to that extent. These people have committed such grave sins and today when they have brought the motion of no confidence and spoke on the whole issue of no confidence, then it is the responsibility of the Treasury Bench to reveal the confidence of the country, to give new strength to the confidence of the country and give a befitting reply to those who don't have any trust. We wanted to hold discussions for Manipur alone; the Home Minister had written a letter stating the same. It was a matter related to his department. But there was no courage on their part; there was no intention and there was no willingness but only evil intentions.

On the situation in Manipur, the country's Home Minister Shri Amit Shah explained the entire matter in detail yesterday for two hours and with great patience without an iota of politics. He expressed the concern of the government and the country and also tried to raise awareness in the people of the country. It was intended to convey a message of trust and confidence to Manipur on behalf of the entire House. There was also an attempt to educate the general public. It was a sincere effort to find a way out for the betterment of the country and alleviating the problem of Manipur. But they can't think of anything except politics. That's why they decided to play these games.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Although Amit Bhai explained everything in detail yesterday, a court delivered its decision in Manipur. Now, we are well aware of the things happening in the courts and the circumstances that were created in its favour and opposition. The period of violence has started and many families have faced several difficulties. Many even lost their near and dear ones. A serious crime has been committed against women and this crime is unforgivable and the central government and the state government are making concerted efforts to get the culprits punished severely. And I want to assure all the citizens of the country that the way the efforts are going on, peace will definitely prevail in the near future. Manipur will once again move forward with a new confidence. I also want to urge the people of Manipur, and tell the mothers, sisters and daughters that the country is with you, this house stands with you. Whether someone is there or not, we all together will find a solution to this challenge. Peace will be established there once again. I assure the people of Manipur that no stone will be left unturned to ensure that Manipur moves forward on the path of development at a fast pace.

Hon'ble Mr. speaker,

Whatever has been said about Mother Bharti here in the House has deeply hurt the sentiments of every Indian. I do not know what's wrong. Does the same happen to anyone without power? Can't they live without power? And what kind of language are they using?

Hon'ble Speaker,

I don't know why some people are wishing death for Mother India. What could be a greater misfortune than this? These are the people who sometimes talk about killing democracy, as well as the constitution. Actually, whatever is in their mind is reflected in their work. I am surprised and who are these people? Has this country forgotten 14th August, the day of partition? This day reminds us of the pain, the suffering and the screams even today. These are the people who had divided Maa Bharti into three pieces. When Maa Bharti had to be freed from the shackles of slavery, and the fetters had to be broken, these people instead had cut off the arms of Maa Bharti. Maa Bharti was cut into three pieces. So how dare these people talk about such a thing.

Hon'ble Speaker,

These are the people who even divided the Vande Mataram song that had inspired the great personalities to die for the country, that had become the voice of awareness in every corner of India. Due to the politics of appeasement, not only did they divide Maa Bharti into pieces, they also divided Vande Mataram song into pieces. These are the people, Hon'ble Speaker, who raise the slogan 'Bharat tere tukde honge'. They encourage this gang who raise such a slogan. They are encouraging slogans like 'Bharat tere tukde honge'. They are supporting those people who say that if the small corridor near Siliguri connecting the North East is cut off, the North East will be separated. They are the ones who support such people.

Hon'ble Speaker,

These people who have walked out, wherever they are, just ask them what is Kachchatheevu? Someone ask them what Kachchatheevu is? They make tall claims, but today I want to tell them what Kachchatheevu is and where did this Kachchatheevu come from? Just ask them, they are trying to mislead the country by writing such things. And these people from DMK, their government, their Chief Minister write letters to me. They still write and say, Modi ji bring Kachchatheevu back. What is Kachchatheevu? Who did it? Beyond Tamil Nadu, and right before Sri Lanka, someone had given away an island to another country. When was it given? Where did it go? Wasn't it a part of Mother India? Was it not a part of Maa Bharti? And you cut that off too. Who was in power at that time? This happened under the leadership of Smt Indira Gandhi. The history of Congress has been all about dividing Mother India.

Hon'ble Speaker,

And what has been the Congress's love for Maa Bharti? What has been the love for the people of Bharat? I want to place one truth in front of this House with great pain. They will not be able to understand this pain. I used to roam around in North-East and used to be there even when I wasn't into politics. I have an emotional attachment towards that area. They have no idea.

Honourable Speaker,

I want to place three contexts before you in front of the House. And I want to say with great pride as the countrymen are listening. First incident March 5, 1966- On this day the Congress got the helpless civilians attacked in Mizoram through its air force. And there was a serious controversy. Congress should answer whether it was the Air Force of any other country. Were the people of Mizoram not the citizens of my country? Was their security the responsibility of the Government of India or not? March 5, 1966- the Air Force attack; the innocent civilians were attacked.

And Mr. Speaker,

Even now, on March 5th, the whole of Mizoram mourns. Mizoram is unable to forget that pain. They have never tried to help them heal the wound. They never felt any sorrow for that. And Congress has hidden this truth from the country, friends. They have hidden this truth from the country. Is it right to get the civilians attacked by the Air Force in our own country? Who was ruling at that time – Indira Gandhi. The Akal Takht was attacked. It is still fresh in our memory. They had developed this habit in Mizoram. And that's why they went on to attack the Akal Takht in my own country, and now they are preaching us.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

They have killed the trust of the people in the North-East. Those wounds emerge in the form of one problem or the other. It is because of their own deeds.

Hon'ble Speaker,

I would like to mention another incident and that incident is the dreadful radio broadcast of 1962 which is still stinging the people of North East like a spike. When China had attacked our country, the people in every corner of the country were expecting India to protect them, to provide them some help; they were expecting that their lives and property would be saved, the country would be saved. The people went out to fight with their hands, but what did Pandit Nehru say on the radio, ruling from Delhi, in such a critical hour? He was the only leader at that time. But he said... "My heart goes out to the people of Assam". That was the condition. That broadcast continues to sting the people of Assam even today. How did Nehru ji leave them to their fate. We want the answers now.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Lohiaists have left already but I wanted to tell them something, these people who call themselves the heirs of Lohia ji and who were speaking loudly in the House yesterday, lifting their fists in the air. Lohia ji had once made serious allegations against Nehru ji. And these were Lohia ji's words - How negligent and how dangerous is this! An area bigger than 30,000 square mile was closed in a cold storage and was deprived of any development. Lohia ji had accused Nehru ji – ‘What is your attitude towards the North-East? You have never tried to understand the heart and feelings of the people of the North-East’. 400 ministers of my Ministries spent nights not only at the State Headquarters, but also at the District Headquarters.

And I've visited 50 times. This is not just a figure, it is our dedication. This is dedication towards the North-East.

Hon'ble Speaker,

And every work of Congress revolves around politics, elections and government. Those regions where they have won more seats, it's easier for them to play their politics and they are forced to do something there. But in the North-East? The country is listening. In the North-East where they had only a few seats, that region was not acceptable to them. They did not pay any attention towards them. They had no sympathy towards the interests of the citizens of the country.

Hon'ble Speaker,

And that's why they meted out step-motherly treatment towards those regions where they had only a few seats. This has been in the DNA of the Congress. Just look at the history of the last several years. They had this same attitude towards the North-East; but now see, due to my efforts during the last 9 years, I can confidently say that for us, the North-East is our most beloved part. Today, the problems of Manipur are being presented in a way as if this situation had arisen now. Yesterday, Amit Bhai explained in detail what the problem was and how it happened. But today I want to say very seriously that the root cause of these problems in the North East is Congress. The people of North East are not responsible for this, but the politics of the Congress is responsible for this.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Manipur is deeply rooted in Indian culture; Manipur has a rich heritage of devotion; Manipur has the legacy of freedom struggle and Azad Hind Fauj; Manipur has made innumerable sacrifices. Such a great land of ours was getting sacrificed in the fire of separatism during the Congress rule. After all, why?

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

I also want to remind all of you, friends, that my brothers here from the North-East are aware of everything. In Manipur, there was a time when every system used to run according to the wish of extremist organizations. Everything happened according to their whims, and at that time which government was there in Manipur? Congress! Which government was in power when Mahatma Gandhi's photo was not allowed in government offices? It was Congress. Which government was in Manipur when a bomb was hurled at the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the Azad Hind Fauj Museum in Morang? It was Congress. Which government was there in Manipur then? Congress.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Which government was there in Manipur when it was decided not to allow the national anthem to be played in schools in Manipur? Congress. A campaign was launched to burn all the books, all the invaluable knowledge and heritage in libraries, which government was there during that campaign? Congress. When the bells of the temple in Manipur used to stop at 4 in the evening, everything was put under a lockdown, and it had become very difficult to worship because everything had to be guarded by the army. Which government was there in Manipur? Congress.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Which government was there in Manipur when devotees were killed by hurling bombs at the ISKCON temple in Imphal? Congress. The IAS, IPS officers had to pay a part of their salary to these extremists if they wanted to work there. Only then they could live peacefully there. Which government was there? Congress.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Their pain is selective, their sensitivity is selective. Their scope starts from politics and proceeds with politics. They neither can think for humanity, nor can think for the country. They can't even think about the problems of the country. They don't understand anything except politics.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

The government that is in Manipur now and for the last six years is constantly trying with a dedicated spirit to find a solution to these problems. No one can forget the era of bandh and blockeds. In Manipur there used to be bandhs and blockades. Today it has become a thing of the past. Efforts are being made continuously to create trust to take everyone along for the establishment of peace, and will continue in the future as well. And the more we keep politics away, the faster will be the establishment of peace. This is what I want to assure the countrymen.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

The North-East may seem distant to us today, but the way South-East Asia is developing, the way the importance of ASEAN countries is increasing, that day will not be far away when our North-East is going to become the centre point from the global perspective along with the progress of our East. And I can clearly see this. That is why today I am striving hard with all my might for the progress of the North-East, not for votes. I am well aware of how the new structure of the world is going to create an impact for the countries of South-East Asia and ASEAN and how the importance of the North-East is going to increase and how the glory of the North-East will once again be enhanced. I can see it happening and that's why I am engaged with this task.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

And that is why our government has given topmost priority to the development of the North-East. In the last nine years, we have spent lakhs of crores of rupees on the infrastructure of the North-East. Today, modern highways, modern railways, modern new airports are becoming the identity of the North-East. Today for the first time Agartala is connected with railways. Goods train has reached Manipur for the first time. For the first time, modern trains like Vande Bharat are operating in the North-East. For the first time, a green field airport has come up in Arunachal Pradesh. For the first time, states like Sikkim and Arunachal have air connectivity. For the first time, the North-East has become the gateway of international trade through waterways. For the first time, a medical institute like AIIMS has been opened in the North-East. For the first time, the country's first sports university is opening in Manipur. For the first time, institutions like the Indian Institute of Mass Communication are opening in Mizoram. For the first time, the participation of the North-East in the Union Cabinet has increased manifold. For the first time, a female MP from Nagaland has reached the Rajya Sabha. For the first time such a large number of people from the North-East have been honoured with Padma Awards. For the first time, a tableau of a hero like Lachit Borphukan from the North-East has been included in the Republic Day. For the first time in Manipur, the first Tribal Freedom Fighter Museum named after Rani Gaidinliu of the North-East has come up.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

When we say Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, it is not a slogan for us, and these are not just words. It is an article of faith for us. There is commitment for us and we are the people who are dedicated towards the country. We had never ever thought that someday we would get the opportunity to be at a place like this. But it is the grace of the people of the country that they have given us the opportunity. So I assure the people of the country –

Every molecule of our being and every moment of our time is only for the countrymen!

Hon'ble Speaker,

Today I want to praise my opposition colleagues for one thing. Although they are not ready to accept the leader of the house as the leader, they haven't let me deliver any of my speeches but I have patience, stamina and I can tolerate to some extent and they get tired. But I appreciate one thing. As the leader of the house, I had given them the task in 2018 to bring a no-confidence motion in 2023 and they obeyed me. But sadly they couldn't do a good job of bringing the motion. They got 5 years between 2018 and 2023 but there was no preparation at all. There was no innovation; there was no creativity. They were not able to find issues. They have disappointed the country tremendously. Mr. Speaker, it's fine. We will give them another chance in 2028. But this time I would urge them to bring that no-confidence motion against our government in 2028 with some preparation beforehand. Find out some issues first. Why do you bring useless and trite agendas? The people of the country should feel slightly confident that you are capable of being in the opposition at least. You have lost that ability too. I hope you will do some homework. You will find plenty of people to carry out your arguments, shouting and sloganeering, but also use some mind.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Politics has its own place. Parliament is not a platform for that. Parliament is the highest respected institution in the country. And that's why MPs also need to be serious about it. The country is investing so many resources. The resources that rightfully belong to the country's poor are used here. Every moment here should be used for the country. But this seriousness is not visible in the opposition. That's why Mr. Speaker, this politics cannot go on like this. They have some spare time, so they would come to the Parliament. Is that how Parliament works? This is not right.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Let's go and visit the Parliament in our free time. Politics can be carried out with this spirit, but the country cannot be run. Here we have been given the job to run the country and therefore if they do not fulfil the responsibility, they are betraying their voters and they have betrayed them.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

I have an unwavering faith, immense faith in the people of this country and I say with confidence, Mr. Speaker, that the people of our country have immense confidence and trust in a way. Even during the period of thousand years of slavery, they never let their inner belief shake. It is a society of unbroken trust, a society full of unbroken consciousness. It is a society that follows the tradition of 'dedication for fulfilling the resolutions'. Following the mantra of वयम् राष्ट्रांग भूता, this is the society which works for the country with the same sensitivity.

And so Mr. Speaker,

It is true that during the period of slavery, we were attacked a lot, we had to face a lot of problems, but the heroes of our country, the great men of our country, the thinkers of our country, the common citizens of our country never extinguished that flame of confidence. That flame was never extinguished and as the flame was never extinguished, we are enjoying that joy in the shadow of the beam of light.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

In the last nine years, the confidence of the common man of the country is touching new heights and touching new aspirations. The youth of my country have started dreaming of competing with the world. And what could be more fortunate than this? Every Indian is full of confidence.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Today's India neither comes under pressure nor accepts pressure. Today's India does not bend before anyone; today's India does not get tired; today's India does not stop. It takes the rich heritage and resolutions with confidence and this is the reason, when the common man of the country starts believing in the country, it also inspires the world to believe in India. Today, since the world has trust in India, one of the reasons is that the people of India have increased their self-confidence. This is the power, please don't try to break this belief. This is the opportunity to take the country forward. If you can't understand this, then please keep quiet. Wait for a while but don't try to break the country's trust by betraying it.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

In the past years, we have been successful in laying a strong foundation of developed India and have dreamed of 2047 when the country will celebrate 100 years of independence. The ‘Amritkaal' began as soon as 75 years of independence were completed. And we are in the early years of ‘Amritkaal'. So I say with this confidence that the foundation which is moving forward with strength today, it is the same strength of that foundation that in 2047 India will be a developed India. And it will be possible with the hard work of the countrymen, with the confidence of the countrymen, with the determination of the countrymen, with the collective power of the countrymen, and with the unbroken efforts of the countrymen. This is what I believe.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

Probably the words spoken here will go on record, but history is going to witness our actions, the actions which have been a strong foundation for realizing the dream of a prosperous India. Hon'ble Speaker, with this belief, today I came in front of the House to clarify a few things and with a lot of self-control, just laughing at each of their abuses, keeping my mind cool, I encouraged 140 crore countrymen to fulfill their dreams, keeping the resolutions in front of my eyes. This is what is in my mind. And I would urge the friends in the House, to recognize the moment and to walk together. Manipur has faced serious problems in this country before, but we have found solutions together. So let's walk together, let's move ahead by giving confidence to the people of Manipur. At least don't undermine the role of Manipur by playing politics. Whatever happened there is unfortunate. But our solution should be to understand that pain and act as a medicine for that pain.

Hon'ble Mr. Speaker,

There has been a lot of rich discussion on this side. We have got the opportunity to give a detailed account of the work of the government one by one, for 1.5 hours.
