गोव्यामध्ये आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या 55 व्या भारतीय आंतरराष्ट्रीय चित्रपट महोत्सवाच्या समारोप समारंभात आज ऑस्ट्रेलियातील दिग्गज चित्रपट निर्माते फिलिप नॉय्स यांचा त्यांच्या उल्लेखनीय आणि प्रतिभाशाली सिनेमॅटिक वाटचालीबद्दल सत्यजीत रे जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार देऊन सन्मान करण्यात आला.

ऍन्जेलिना जोली अभिनित सॉल्ट, हॅरिसन फोर्ड यांची भूमिका असलेला पॅट्रियॉट गेम्स आणि डेन्झेल वॉशिंग्टन यांची भूमिका असलेला द बोन कलेक्टर यांसारख्या चित्रपटांसाठी नॉय्स ओळखले जातात. या सिनेमॅटिक दिग्गजाचा सन्मान करण्यासाठी दिलेल्या या पुरस्कारामध्ये एक रौप्यमयूर पदक, प्रमाणपत्र, शाल, एक पट्टिका आणि दहा लाख रुपये रोख रक्कम यांचा समावेश आहे.
