പുരുഷ ഡബിൾസ് ബാഡ്മിന്റണിൽ സ്വർണ്ണ മെഡൽ നേടിയ സാത്വിക് സായിരാജ് രങ്കിറെഡ്ഡിയെയും ചിരാഗ് ഷെട്ടിയെയും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു :
"ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ബാഡ്മിന്റൺ സംഘം വിജയവും മികവും പുനർ നിർവചിച്ചു. സാത്വിക് സായിരാജിന്റെയും ചിരാഗ് ഷെട്ടിയുടെയും ടീം വർക്കിന്റെയും കഴിവുകളുടെയും മികച്ച പ്രകടനം. സ്വർണ്ണ മെഡൽ നേടിയതിൽ അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നു. വരും കാലങ്ങളിലും അവർ ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക് കൂടുതൽ പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ നേടിത്തരട്ടെ."
