ప్రఖ్యాత పూరి క్షేత్రంలో జగన్నాథుడి రథయాత్రను నిర్వహించుకోవచ్చని సుప్రీంకోర్టు అనుమతినివ్వడం పట్ల  కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి అమిత్‌ షా సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. "ఒడిశా సోదర, సోదరీమణులకు, ముఖ్యంగా జగన్నాథుడి భక్తులకు ఇది ప్రత్యేకమైన రోజు. రథయాత్ర కొనసాగించుకోవచ్చన్న సుప్రీంకోర్టు తీర్పు పట్ల దేశవ్యాప్తంగా హర్షం వ్యక్తమవుతోంది" అంటూ అమిత్‌ షా వరుస ట్వీట్లు చేశారు. 

    ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ భక్తుల మనోభావాలను అర్థం చేసుకోవడమేగాక, మన కర్మభూమి సంప్రదాయాలను పాటించేలా సంప్రదింపులు జరిపినందుకు నాతోపాటు, దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న కోట్లాది భక్తులందరినీ సంతోషంలో ముంచెత్తింది.

    ఈ అంశాన్ని పరిష్కరించేందుకు అధికారులతో అత్యవసర సంప్రదింపులు జరిపినట్లు అమిత్‌ షా వెల్లడించారు. "ప్రధాని ఆదేశాల మేరకు గత సాయంత్రం.., పూరి రాజు గజపతి మహరాజ్‌, పూరి శంకరాచార్యతో మాట్లాడి రథయాత్రపై వారి అభిప్రాయాలు తెలుసుకున్నా. ఈ ఉదయం సొలిసిటర్‌ జనరల్‌తో మాట్లాడా" అని అమిత్‌ షా చెప్పారు.

    "రథయాత్ర కేసు ప్రాముఖ్యత దృష్ట్యా సుప్రీంకోర్టు వెకేషన్ బెంచ్‌ ఎదుట మధ్యాహ్నం విచారణ జరిగింది. సుప్రీంకోర్టు ముఖ్యమైన నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవడానికి మార్గం సుగమమైంది" అని అమిత్‌ షా వెల్లడించారు. 

    ఒడిశా ప్రజలకు శుభాకాంక్షలు, జై జగన్నాథ్ అంటూ అమిత్‌ షా ట్వీట్‌ చేశారు.
