पुरी रथ यात्रेसंदर्भात सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या निर्णयाचे केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शहा यांनी स्वागत केले आहे.आजचा दिवस आपणा सर्वांसाठी,विशेषतः आपल्या ओदिशाच्या बंधू-भगिनी त्याचबरोबर महाप्रभू श्री जगन्नाथ जी यांच्या भाविकांसाठी विशेष आहे. रथयात्रेला सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाची परवानगी मिळाल्याने संपूर्ण देशात उत्साह आणि आनंदाचे वातावरण आहे असे त्यांनी ट्वीट संदेशात म्हटले आहे.

माझ्याबरोबरच भारतातल्या कोट्यवधी भाविकांसाठी ही आनंदाची बाब आहे की,  पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी भाविकांच्या भावना जाणण्याबरोबरच यासंदर्भात  विचारविमर्श सुरु केला ज्यायोगे आपली महान परंपरा कायम राहिली असे अमित शहा यांनी म्हटले आहे.

हा मुद्दा सोडवण्यासाठी संबंधीताशी तातडीने चर्चा करण्यात आली.काल संध्याकाळी, पंतप्रधानांच्या सूचनेनुसार गजपती महाराज (पुरीचे राजे) आणि पुरीचे आदरणीय शंकराचार्य यांच्याशी आपण चर्चा केली आणि यात्रेबाबत त्यांची मते जाणून घेतली. आज सकाळी पंतप्रधानांच्या सूचनेनुसार सॉलीसिटर जनरल यांच्याशीही आपण चर्चा केल्याचे अमित शहा यांनी म्हटले आहे.

या बाबीची तातडी आणि महत्व लक्षात घेऊन सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या सुट्टीकालीन पीठासमोर हा मुद्दा  ठेवण्यात आला आणि आज दुपारी सुनावणी झाली आणि सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाचा  हा महत्वाच्या निर्णय आपल्यासमोर आला.

ओदिशाच्या जनतेचे अभिनंदन. जय जगन्नाथ ! असे अमित शहा यांनी म्हटले आहे.

Today is a special day for all of us, particularly our Odia sisters and brothers as well as devotees of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath Ji. The entire nation is delighted by the decision of the Honourable Supreme Court to ensure the Rath Yatra goes on.

Last evening, as per the instructions of PM @narendramodi, I spoke to Gajapati Maharaj Ji (The King of Puri) and the respected Shankaracharya Ji of Puri and sought their views on the Yatra. This morning, on PM’s instructions, I also spoke to the Solicitor General.

Considering the urgency and importance of the matter, it was placed in front of a vacation bench of the Supreme Court and the hearing took place this afternoon, which paved the way for the important decision by the SC.
