ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ అయిదో ఇండియా ఇంటర్ నేశనల్ సైన్స్ ఫెస్టివల్ ను నేటి సాయంత్రం 4:00 గంటల కు ప్రారంభించనున్నారు. కోల్ కాతా లో జరుగనున్న ఈ కార్యక్రమాని కి విచ్చేసే సభికుల ను ఉద్దేశించి వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ మాధ్యమం ద్వారా ఆయన ప్రసంగిస్తారు.
ఉత్సవం ప్రధానోద్దేశం ప్రజల లో శాస్త్రీయ భావన ను చొప్పించడమూ, విజ్ఞాన శాస్త్రం- సాంకేతిక విజ్ఞానం (ఎస్ ఎండ్ టి) రంగం లో భారతదేశం యొక్క తోడ్పాటు ను ప్రదర్శించడమూ, విజ్ఞాన శాస్త్రం మరియు సాంకేతిక విజ్ఞానం యొక్క లాభాల ను అందుకొనేటట్టు ప్రజల ను ప్రోత్సహించడమూను. విజ్ఞాన శాస్త్రం మరియు సాంకేతిక విజ్ఞానం యొక్క పురోగతి తాలూకు ప్రయోజనాల ను అన్ని వర్గాల కు చేర్చే విధం గా ఒక వ్యూహాన్ని రూపొందించాలన్నది ఈ కార్యక్రమం ధ్యేయం గా ఉంది.
ఈ సంవత్సరం జరిగే ఈ ఫెస్టివల్ యొక్క ఇతివృత్తం ఆర్ఐఎస్ఇఎన్. ఆర్ఐఎస్ఇఎన్ అనేది ఇండియా- రిసర్చ్, ఇనవేశన్ ఎండ్ సైన్స్ ఎంప‌వ‌రింగ్‌ ద నేశన్ కు సంక్షిప్త నామం.
