Prime Minister pays tributes to Lata Mangeshkar on her Jayanti

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today paid respectful tributes to Lata Didi on her Jayanti, stating that she brought glory to the nation across the world through her divine singing talent.

The Prime Minister remarked that she not only adorned India with her melodious voice but also constantly encouraged every initiative linked to the country's prosperity. Shri Modi noted that her unparalleled contribution to the Indian music world will be remembered for generations to come.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister shared:

"अपनी दिव्य गायन प्रतिभा से विश्व में देश का नाम रोशन करने वालीं आदरणीया लता दीदी को उनकी जयंती पर सादर नमन। उन्होंने भारतवर्ष को न केवल अपने सुमधुर सुरों से सजाया-संवारा, बल्कि देश की समृद्धि से जुड़ी हर पहल को भी सदैव प्रोत्साहित किया। भारतीय संगीत जगत में उनका अप्रतिम योगदान युग-युगांतर तक स्मरणीय रहेगा।"
