Prime Minister pays tributes to Mahanayak Uttam Kumar on his birth centenary

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today paid tributes to legendary actor Mahanayak Uttam Kumar on his birth centenary. The Prime Minister described him as a legend whose timeless performances continue to connect with people across generations. He also shared his remarks about the iconic actor from a recent
Mann Ki Baat broadcast.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister shared:
"Mahanayak Uttam Kumar...a legend whose timeless performances connect with people across generations.
Tributes on his birth centenary.
Also sharing what I spoke about him during #MannKiBaat last Sunday.
মহানায়ক উত্তম কুমার... এক কিংবদন্তি যাঁর কালজয়ী পরিবেশনা প্রজন্মান্তরের মানুষের সঙ্গে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে চলেছে।
তাঁর জন্মশতবার্ষিকীতে শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি।
গত রবিবার #MannKiBaat অনুষ্ঠানে আমি তাঁর সম্পর্কে যা বলেছিলাম, তাও শেয়ার করছি।"
