Prime Minister congratulates Asmita Dey on winning Gold in Women’s 48 kg Judo at Commonwealth Games 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Asmita Dey on winning the Gold medal in the Women’s 48 kg Judo Final at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026.
The Prime Minister said that Asmita Dey’s performance will always be remembered and will contribute towards making judo even more popular.
Shri Modi extended his best wishes to her for her future endeavours.
