Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared glimpses of inauguration and laying the foundation stone of multiple rail and road infrastructure projects worth more than ₹3,250 crore at Malda, West Bengal.
In a series of posts on X, Shri Modi wrote:
“From Malda in West Bengal, a significant step has been taken for modernising railway infrastructure.
The flagging off of the Vande Bharat Sleeper trains is a major step towards enhancing convenience.”
“Congratulations to the people of West Bengal as the state gets four more modern Amrit Bharat Express trains.”
“পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মালদা থেকে রেল পরিকাঠামোর আধুনিকীকরণে এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হয়েছে।
বন্দে ভারত স্লিপার ট্রেনের সূচনা যাত্রীসুবিধার ক্ষেত্রে এক বড় পদক্ষেপ।”
“রাজ্য আরও চারটি আধুনিক অমৃত ভারত এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেন পাওয়ায় পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মানুষকে অভিনন্দন।”
“At Malda Railway Station, flagged off the first Vande Bharat sleeper train, which will connect Howrah to Guwahati. Also had a pleasant interaction with children who were at the station and on the train.”
“মালদা রেল স্টেশনে পতাকা দেখিয়ে হাওড়া ও গুয়াহাটিকে সংযোগকারী প্রথম বন্দে ভারত স্লিপার ট্রেন-এর যাত্রা শুরু করালাম। স্টেশনে এবং ট্রেনে উপস্থিত শিশুদের সঙ্গে কথা বলে আনন্দিত হলাম।”
