PM continues to receive congratulatory messages from world leaders on taking oath as Prime Minister of India for the third time


Thanks world leaders for their congratulatory messages

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi thanked the world leaders for their congratulatory messages on taking oath as Prime Minister of India for the third time. Shri Modi replied to the messages by world leaders on the social media platform ‘X’. 

Responding to a post by the founder of Microsoft, Mr Bill Gates, the Prime Minister said;

“Deeply appreciate your message Bill Gates. Recall our very positive and engaging conversation a few months ago, including on transformative role of technology in governance and healthcare, and India's commitment to climate change and sustainable development. We value our partnership for promoting innovation for the benefit of humanity.”

Responding to a post by the Former President of Afghanistan, Mr Hamid Karzai, the Prime Minister said;

“Thank you for your kind words of felicitations my friend Hamid Karzai”

Replying to a post by the President of Uganda, Mr Yoweri K Museveni, the Prime Minister said;

“Your warm words of felicitations are deeply appreciated President Yoweri K Museveni. We will advance our strong partnership with Uganda. We were proud that Africa Union became permanent member of G20 Presidency. We will further develop our historical connect in all areas.”

Replying to a post by the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Mr Robert Golob, the Prime Minister said;

“Appreciate your warm greetings Prime Minister Robert Golob. We will continue to deepen close partnership between India and Slovenia in my third term.”

Replying to a post by the Prime Minister of Finland, Mr Petteri Orpo, the Prime Minister said;

“Thank you Prime Minister Petteri Orpo for your kind wishes. I look forward to closely working with you to build on the momentum in India- Finland ties and further deepen our partnership.”

Responding to a post by the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister said;

“Thank you for the congratulatory message. India looks forward to working with Canada based on mutual understanding and respect for each other's concerns.”

Replying to a post by the Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew, the Prime Minister said;

“Thank you Prime Minister Terrance Drew. We are proud of centuries old people to people ties with St. Kitts & Nevis. Looking forward to work with you to build a strong development cooperation as a key Carribean partner in the Global South.”

Responding to a post by the Prime Minister of Yemen, Mr Ahmad Awad bin Mubarak, the Prime Minister said;

“Heartful thanks PM Ahmad Awad bin Mubarak for your kind wishes. We value the historic and friendly ties with Yemen. We wish peace, security, stability and prosperity for the people of the country.”

Responding to a post by CEO of Tesla Motors, Mr Elon Musk, the Prime Minister said;

“Appreciate your greetings Elon Musk. The talented Indian youth, our demography, predictable policies and stable democratic polity will continue to provide the business environment for all our partners.”

Replying to a post by the Prime Minister of Eswatini, Mr Russell Mmiso Dlamini, the Prime Minister said;

“Grateful to you Russell Mmiso Dlamini, the Royal family and the friendly people of the Kingdom of Eswatini for their warm greetings. We will work together to strengthen our partnership.”

Responding to a post by the Prime Minister of Belize, Mr John Briceño, the Prime Minister said;

“Thank you, Prime Minister John Briceño. We value friendship with Belize and look forward to strengthening these bonds and work towards the progress and prosperity of the Global South.”

Replying to a post by the Prime Minister of Belgium, Mr Alexander De Croo, the Prime Minister said;

“Thank you Prime Minister Alexander De Croo. The vibrant and robust India- Belgium ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡³-🇧🇪 partnership will continue to gain new heights in the new term.”

Responding to a post by the President of Bolivia, Mr Luis Arce, the Prime Minister said;

“Deeply appreciate your kind words for the Indian democracy and your message of felicitations President Luis Arce. Bolivia is our valued partner for India in Latin America. We are committed to deepen our cooperation.”

Replying to a post by the Prime Minister of Ireland, Mr Simon Harris, the Prime Minister said;

“Grateful for your kind words Prime Minister Simon Harris. India- Ireland ties are anchored in shared democratic values. I share your commitment to advance our partnership as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of relations.”

Responding to a post by the President of Zambia, Mr Hakainde Hichilema, the Prime Minister said;

“Grateful to President Hakainde Hichilema for his kind words of felicitations. The India-Zambia partnership will continue to grow from strength to strength.”

Responding to a post by the President-Elect of Indonesia, Mr Prabowo Subianto, the Prime Minister said;

“Thank you President-elect Prabowo Subianto for your good wishes. I look forward to working closely with you on strengthening our comprehensive strategic partnership and build on our age-old ties.”

Replying to a post by the President of the Swiss Confederation, Ms Viola Amherd, the Prime Minister said;

“President Viola Amherd, we appreciate your kind words. The ‘Festival of Democracy’ in India has indeed drawn the global attention. We will work together to enhance India- Switzerland partnership.”
