"ఢిల్లీలోని రాధా స్వామి బియాస్ వద్ద 10,000 పడకల కోవిడ్ కేర్ సెంటర్ జూన్ 26వ తేదీ నుండి అందుబాటులోకి వస్తుంది. పనులు ముమ్మరంగా కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. ఆసుపత్రి సదుపాయాలలో ఎక్కువ భాగం శుక్రవారం నాటికి అందుబాటులోకి వస్తాయి.” అని కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి శ్రీ అమిత్ షా చెప్పారు. 

           న్యూఢిల్లీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ అరవింద్ కేజ్రీవాల్ ఛత్తర్‌పూర్‌లోని రాధా సోమి సత్సంగ్ బియాస్ ప్రాంగణంలోని కోవిడ్ కేర్ సెంటర్‌ను పరిశీలించమని ఆహ్వానిస్తూ కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రికి లేఖ రాశారని వార్తా సంస్థ ఎ.ఎన్.‌ఐ. చేసిన ట్వీట్ ‌పై శ్రీ అమిత్ షా స్పందిస్తూ,  "ఢిల్లీ లోని రాధ స్వామి బియాస్ వద్ద ఉన్న కోవిడ్ కేర్ సెంటర్‌ను నిర్వహించే బాధ్యతను హోం మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఐ.టి.బి.పి. కి కేటాయించింది. మూడు రోజుల క్రితం జరిగిన సమావేశంలో ఈ మేరకు నిర్ణయించడం జరిగింది." అని చెప్పారు. 

           "కోవిడ్ రోగుల కోసం 250 ఐ.సి.యు పడకలతో సహా 1,000 పడకల పూర్తి స్థాయి ఆసుపత్రి వచ్చే వారం అందుబాటులోకి వస్తుంది."  అని కేంద్ర హోం మంత్రి చెప్పారు. “డి.ఆర్.డి.ఓ. మరియు టాటా ట్రస్ట్ ఈ సదుపాయాలను కల్పిస్తున్నాయి.  సాయుధ దళాల సిబ్బంది దీనికి భద్రత కల్పిస్తారు.  ఈ కోవిడ్ కేర్ సెంటర్ వచ్చే 10 రోజుల్లో సిద్ధంగా ఉంటుంది, ” అని శ్రీ అమిత్ షా వివరించారు.

            అంతేకాకుండా, ఢిల్లీ లోని రైలు పెట్టెలలో ఉంచిన కోవిడ్  రోగులకు వైద్య సంరక్షణ మరియు భద్రత కల్పించడానికి సాయుధ దళాల సిబ్బందిని నియోగించడం జరిగింది" అని శ్రీ అమిత్ షా చెప్పారు.  "అవసరానికి అనుగుణంగా కోవిడ్ కేర్ సెంటర్లను తయారు చేయడానికి 8,000 అదనపు పడకలు ఇప్పటికే ఢిల్లీ ప్రభుత్వం వద్ద అందుబాటులో ఉంచడం జరిగింది." అని కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి చెప్పారు.

           దీనితో, జాతీయ రాజధాని ఢిల్లీలో కోవిడ్ రోగులకు 250 ఐ.సి.యు. పడకలతో సహా సుమారు 20,000 పడకలు వచ్చే వారం నాటికి అందుబాటులోకి రానున్నాయి.

I would also like to inform the people of Delhi that a 1,000 bed full-fledged hospital with 250 ICU beds is being developed for Covid patients. DRDO and Tata Trust are building the facility. Armed forces personnel will man it. This Covid Care centre will be ready in next 10 days.

Armed Forces personnel have been detailed for providing medical care and attention to COVID patients housed in the Railway coaches in Delhi. 8,000 additional beds have already been placed at Delhi government’s disposal for making COVID care centres, as per requirement.
