Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Annpurna Devi has hailed the launch of the 1st Mahila Commando Conversion Course (MCCC) at the NSG Training Academy, Manesar, describing it as another proud milestone.

In a post on 'X' the Union Minister said that under the visionary leadership of the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, Nari Shakti is being empowered in the truest sense through capability, leadership and opportunity. She informed that under the course, women personnel from State Police Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) will receive specialised training in weapons, tactical intervention, hostage rescue and counter-terrorism operations.

She said that India’s Nari Shakti is breaking barriers and leading from the front.
