TRAI Assesses Quality of Mobile Network across Rewari City (Haryana)

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released findings of Independent Drive Test (IDT) conducted across Rewari City (In Haryana LSA), during the month of July-August 2025, for information of general telecom consumers. The purpose of this drive test is to assess and verify real world quality of mobile network services (both voice & data) provided by Telecom Service Providers(TSPs). During the IDT, TRAI Captures performance data on key performance indicators (KPIs) like Call setup success rate, data download and upload speeds, speech quality, etc., which are then published to inform consumers and encourage TSPs to improve their services.
TRAI, through its appointed agency, conducted detailed drive tests across city drive of 250.7 KMs, 8 Hotspot locations, Walk Test of 1.1 Kms in Rewari city during 31-07-2025 to 02-08-2025 in Haryana. These tests were conducted under the supervision of the TRAI Regional Office, Jaipur. A summary of IDT findings of Rewari city is given as below:

The drive test conducted in Rewari City covered all important areas of Rewari city including surrounding nearby areas of Lakhnor, Gokalghar, Saharanwas, Kanmajara, Bawal, Uttam Nagar, Bharawas, Shabajpur, Jalalpur, Jaliawas, Banipur and Harchandpur, etc.
In this type of Drive testing, live data and voice sessions are established using SIM cards from all TSPs over 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks across diverse usages environment, i.e., commercial zones, hotspots, public transport hubs, etc. Multiple advanced test handsets are used and the sessions are monitored and analysed in real-time using advanced Software Systems.
The findings of this IDT report have been shared with respective TSPs for taking further action for improvement in the network at their end, if required.
