PROPERTY CARDS

The preparation and distribution of Property Cards on the basis of maps generated under SVAMITVA Scheme by the Survey of India is the responsibility of the respective State Government. As on 6th December 2023, 1.63 crores Property Cards have been prepared by the States. The State-wise and Year-wise data on Property Cards prepared by the States under the SVAMITVA scheme (Cumulative Data) is given below:

As on 6th December 2023, Rs. 354.52 crores have been released under the SVAMITVA scheme. The year-wise data of funds released under the SVAMITVA scheme is given below:

As per the Guidelines / Framework of the SVAMITVA scheme, the State Government shall be responsible for any future updation of rural abadi property data and conducting surveys on regular basis. The mechanism for future updation of Property data and maps of a State shall be decided by the State Government. The updation of property related data would be done as a part of regular data maintenance of State Revenue Department. It is the responsibility of State Revenue Department officials to update the Property Data.
