Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Annpurna Devi has reaffirmed the nation's resolve to make India free of child marriage.

In a post on 'X' the Union Minister said that together we have resolved to make India free of child marriage. She said that the elimination of child marriage is our national commitment, so that every daughter can move forward towards a safe, educated and empowered future.

She called upon everyone to come together and further strengthen the resolve of a Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat (Child Marriage Free India).

हमने मिलकर ठाना है, भारत को बाल विवाह मुक्त बनाना है।

बाल विवाह उन्मूलन हमारी राष्ट्रीय प्रतिबद्धता है, ताकि हर बेटी सुरक्षित, शिक्षित और सशक्त भविष्य की ओर आगे बढ़ सके।
