MoEFCC celebrates ‘Har Ghar Tiranga 2026’ campaign with mass singing of National Song ‘Vande Mataram’

As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign and the commemoration of 150 years of the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’, officers and officials of the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, led by Secretary, Shri Tanmay Kumar, today participated in a mass singing of the National Song at Indira Paryavaran Bhawan (IPB), New Delhi.
The mass singing was followed by a tree plantation activity led by the Secretary, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development. Offices under the administrative control of the Ministry across the country are actively participating in the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign and collective singing of the National Song, besides carrying out plantation drives. Also, the Ministry is encouraging officers and employees to upload ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ on the Har Ghar Tiranga Portal (www.harghartiranga.com).
The Government of India has decided to celebrate ‘Har Ghar Tiranga 2026’, across the country from 9th to 17th August, 2026, in conjunction with commemoration of 150 years of the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’.
