Prime Minister extends greetings to the people of Maharashtra on Maharashtra Day

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today extended his best wishes to the people of Maharashtra on the occasion of Maharashtra Day.
The Prime Minister posted on X:
"Best wishes to my sisters and brothers of Maharashtra on Maharashtra Day. Maharashtra has a long history of social awakening, cultural richness and leadership across sectors. From literature, theatre, music and cinema to industry, education, science and public service, the state has made a lasting contribution to India’s growth. Praying for the continuous development of Maharashtra and the well-being of its great people.”
"महाराष्ट्र दिनानिमित्त महाराष्ट्रातील माझ्या सर्व बंधू-भगिनींना हार्दिक शुभेच्छा. सामाजिक प्रबोधन, समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक परंपरा आणि विविध क्षेत्रांतील नेतृत्वाचा महाराष्ट्राला प्रदीर्घ गौरवशाली इतिहास लाभला आहे. साहित्य, नाट्य, संगीत, चित्रपट ते उद्योग, शिक्षण, विज्ञान आणि सार्वजनिक सेवा याद्वारे राज्याने भारताच्या प्रगतीत मोलाचे योगदान दिले आहे. महाराष्ट्राच्या निरंतर विकासासाठी आणि येथील महान जनतेच्या कल्याणासाठी मी प्रार्थना करतो."
