Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, in collaboration with its attached/subordinate offices/PSUs, will actively participate for the Special Campaign 4.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters which will be organised in two phases- Preparatory Phase from 16^th September to 30^th September, 2024 and Implementation Phase from 2^nd October to 31^st October, 2024. The drive aims at disposal of pending references in various categories like MP references, PMO references, VIP, Cabinet References, State Government References and CPGRAM matters, etc., in a time bound manner.

The success of Special Campaigns over the years has resulted in institutionalisation of the Campaign and the Government plans to conduct a bigger campaign this year. This Special campaign is in line with the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister for the ‘Swachh Bharat’. Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) plays a pivotal role in Swacchata drive as this Ministry having CPWD, NBCC, HUDCO, DDA, Directorate of Estate, and other attached and subordinate office having high public interface along with the entrusted job of construction, maintenance and upkeep of Govt. Offices and Residential Complexes where the visible and directly achieved results of cleanliness and issues of pendency can most easily be measured.

The focus of the campaign this year shall be field/ outstation offices responsible for service delivery or having public interface. Special drive will be undertaken for record management, space management and general cleanliness inside and outside of the Government Building.  CPWD will provide all help and assistance for this special drive.
