Scholarships for SC Students

State wise lists of number of beneficiaries who availed scholarship under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme and the Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme, as reported by the State Governments, are attached as Annexure (I) & Annexure (II) respectively. Gender wise details are maintained in the central database only from 2021-22.
The Top Class Education for Scheduled Caste Scheme and National Overseas Scholarships for SCs are both Central Sector schemes and scholarships are directly released to the student for stipend/allowances and to the institutions for fee. There is no State-wise allocation/quota under the scheme. Therefore, state-wise data is not maintained. Details of the total number of students who availed Top class scholarship for SCs and National Overseas Scholarships for SCs etc. are as under:
