The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) and its organisations are actively implementing Special Campaign 6.0, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG). The Campaign focuses on promoting cleanliness, optimising office space, strengthening record management and ensuring the timely disposal of pending matters.

Progress under Special Campaign 6.0
Till 30 October 2026, MDoNER and its organisations have made significant progress towards the targets set under the Campaign. A total of 11 cleanliness drives have been conducted, 4,052 e-files have been reviewed against the target of 5,650, and 1,160 sq. ft. of office space has been freed up through space optimisation efforts. The Campaign's progress and achievements have also been disseminated through several posts on social media platforms, enhancing the visibility of the initiatives undertaken.
Efforts towards reducing pendency have also yielded results. Of the six references received from Members of Parliament, four have been addressed. In addition, all three Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) references and all three public grievances have been disposed of, reflecting the Ministry's focus on responsive governance and time-bound resolution of pending matters.
The Campaign continues to focus on cleanliness drives, the Clean Desk Campaign, review and closure of eligible e-files, disposal of obsolete materials and e-waste, optimum utilisation of office space, and time-bound disposal of pending references.

MDoNER remains committed to sustaining the momentum of Special Campaign 6.0 and institutionalising Swachhata, efficient record management and administrative efficiency as integral elements of routine office functioning.
