The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment undertook a cleanliness drive and systematic upkeep of physical records in its Record Room as part of Special Campaign 6.

A Senior official in the Ministry said the initiative was aimed to maintain cleanliness, ensure the proper organisation and preservation of official documents, and promote an orderly and efficient working environment.

 

 

 

The Official said the drive focused on the systematic arrangement and upkeep of physical records to facilitate their easy identification and retrieval. Proper records management plays an important role in preserving official documents, improving accessibility to information and ensuring the smooth functioning of departmental operations, he added.

The Official further said the initiative also highlighted the importance of maintaining clean and organised workspaces, strengthening administrative efficiency and adopting systematic practices for the management of official records.

Through such activities, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment continues to reaffirm its commitment to cleanliness, efficient records management and better workplace practices, in line with the objectives of Special Campaign 6, the official further added.
