Rajasthan’s rich tapestry of art, devotion, craftsmanship and tradition comes alive in a diverse collection of mementos featured in the PM Mementos e-Auction 2026. The collection brings together 37 artefacts representing the state’s folk deities, traditional paintings, textiles, architectural heritage and sporting achievements.

Among the prominent pieces is a handcrafted Ambabari elephant with Howdah, carved from wood and decorated with traditional patterns. Another handcrafted wooden elephant procession set depicts a royal howdah accompanied by ceremonial attendants.

The collection highlights a silver memento of Veer Tejaji Maharaj depicts the revered folk deity mounted on a horse, while another silver-plated statue portrays him riding his horse with his characteristic spear and snake motif.

The collection includes Pichwai paintings of Shrinathji from Nathdwara, a Phad painting depicting Lakshmi and Narayan and a Pattachitra-style artwork portraying Krishna Raas Leela. These works showcase different forms of devotional storytelling and artistic expression represented in the catalogue.

The cultural diversity of the collection extends to Ajmer Sharif Dargah, represented through both a hand-painted artwork and a framed depiction of the shrine. The catalogue describes the painting as capturing the architectural character of the Dargah and its tradition of welcoming devotees from different faiths.

A decorated turban featuring a stone and feather brooch, a yellow pagdi with multicoloured motifs, and several angavastras featuring gota borders showcase the region’s textile and ornamental traditions.

The collection further features representations of several revered sites and deities, including Kaila Mata of Karauli, Sundha Mata, Khema Baba of Baytu, Brahma Temple in Pushkar and Shri Kalyan Raiji Maharaj. A painting of Mangarh Dham in Banswara also forms part of the collection.

Alongside these cultural and sporting artefacts are historical and contemporary memorabilia, including framed newspaper editions related to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha and a decorative plate artwork issued by BJP Rajasthan.

Together, the 37 mementos present a varied portrait of Rajasthan through its folk traditions, devotional art, painting, textiles, historical heritage, architecture and contemporary achievements, bringing several facets of the state’s cultural identity into the PM Mementos e-Auction.
