Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), under the leadership of Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, Hon’ble MoS, DAHD, organized “एक पेड़ मां के नाम” campaign under the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, at Animal Quarantine and Certification Services (AQCS) campus, New Delhi on 25.09.2026.

During the campaign, Hon’ble MoS stated that “एक पेड़ मां के नाम” campaign, launched by our respected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, this campaign connects nature's nourishment with our mothers' affection. When we plant a tree in our mother's name, we don't just plant a tree, we plant life for the future. Hon’ble MoS also emphasized that these plants shall be taken care like our own child, so that in the future, that tree can care for us like our mother.

The cleanliness drive was also carried out in the AQCS Campus under the leadership of Hon’ble MoS with a motive to adopt the cleanliness in our lifestyle.

This year, the theme of SHS 2026 is "Participation in Cleanliness; Clean India, Developed India." Our goal is clear—the promise of a developed India cannot be achieved without public participation.
