National Council for Cement and Building Materials signs MoU with Delhi Technological University to strengthen skill development and capacity building in construction sector

The National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Technological University (DTU), marking a significant step towards strengthening research–academia collaboration in India’s cement and construction sector.
The collaboration aims to promote joint research and innovation in cement and concrete technologies, provide training opportunities for students, professionals and stakeholders, and enhance skill development and capacity building across the sector. It will also facilitate knowledge exchange between academia and industry, enabling the dissemination of best practices and technical expertise.
The partnership is expected to contribute significantly towards advancing sustainable and resilient infrastructure in the country, while strengthening India’s construction ecosystem through improved technical capabilities and institutional collaboration.
The MoU was signed by Dr. L. P. Singh, Director General, NCB and Shri Binod Doley, Registrar, DTU, in the presence of Professor Prateek Sharma, Vice Chancellor, DTU; Dr. S. K. Chaturvedi, Joint Director & Secretary, NCB; Dr. Sanjay Mundra, General Manager & Head (ETS), NCB; and Dr. Kapil Kukreja, General Manager & Head (CME), NCB on March 30, 2026 at DTU, New Delhi.
