The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras (PMKKs) have been set up as a model training center, for imparting skill training in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode throughout the country. Currently, 597 PMKKs are operational in the country. The State/UT wise number of PMKK operational is given in Annexure I.

The State/UT wise details of number of candidates trained by PMKKs under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) during the last three financial years and the current financial year as on 31.10.2025 are given at Annexure II.

The performance of PMKKs was regularly reviewed by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and National Skill Development Corporation in the quarterly review meetings.
