Union Minister Inaugurates Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programme of Kanjirapuzha Grama Panchayat, Palakkad District

Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum & Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, said that the beneficiaries of Central Government schemes should make efforts to disseminate more information about the schemes among others to ensure their maximum reach.

He was speaking at Kanjiram in Kanjirapuzha Grama Panchayat of Palakkad district while inaugurating the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme organized to ensure last mile connectivity of development and welfare projects of the Central Government.
 
The Union Minister remarked that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was aimed at directly disseminating government schemes to the public and to add more beneficiaries. Central government schemes were dedicated to the welfare of the poor. The government was committed to the welfare of the poor and the vulnerable, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri added.

Beneficiaries of various central government schemes including Ujjwala Yojana, NULM and PM SVANidhi shared their experiences in the ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ segment of the programme. 100 free cooking gas connections were distributed under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana at the function.
