All women bike expedition ‘Yashasvini’ celebrating Nari Shakti across the country culminates its journey at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat on National Unity Day

‘Yashaswini’, the bike expedition of women bikers of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) held in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development culminated its journey at Ekta nagar, Gujarat on the occasion of National Unity Day.
In the event, Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on National Unity Day, at Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar, Gujarat. During the event, the Yashasvini CRPF bikers performed their daredevil stunts.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development collaborated with the Central Reserve Police Force for organizing a bike expedition, "Yashaswini", a group of 150 CRPF women bikers to celebrate women power or Nari Shakti across the country. Three teams, each comprising 25 Royal Enfield (350 cc) motorbikes and 50 bikers began the journey: Team JK Zone from Srinagar on 3rd October 2023 and Team NE Zone and Team South Zone from Shillong and Kanyakumari respectively on 5th October. The teams converged at the Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar, for the finale event on 31 October 2023 after covering a total distance of more than 10,000 km.
The Ministry under the banner, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and in conjunction with CRPF, organized events across 22 districts falling on the three routes. During these events, CRPF women bikers interacted with school and college going girls, self-help groups, NCC cadets, children in Child Care Institutions, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan members, anganwadi workers etc.
In addition to promoting the CRPF’s message of "Desh Ke Hum Hain Rakshak", the women bikers have also incorporated the social message of "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao", into their campaign. Displaying the BBBP logo on their uniforms and banners, they endorsed the cause throughout the country .
